I believe I have included enough photos for serious collectors to date it and to tell if this is one you want in your collection. It is certainly in nice condition and bears a lot of decals. I believe the clip on the front is to hold a Miners lamp and I am not sure what the purpose of the bottle attached on the back of the helmet is for but no doubt some kind of safety precaution or preparation. Also. there is a leather keeper strap on the back who's purpose I am unaware of but it looks to be a factory addition? The decals suggest it was used in either the oilfield or oilshale industry rather than mining but you can be the judge. No cracks or chips. The only thing I would mention is that the hardhat liner is missing ... morethe ear warmers that zip around and attach to it. Hat in overall good condition. Shows one small nick on the brim. No cracks. Liner is adjustable and soft. Shows some light scratches here& there but nothing major as you can see in the pictures. Marked on the underside brim MSA and has the MSA SKULLGUARD sticker in the top of the helmet. Nice helmet with plenty of use left in it. I don't see a size in it but I believe the liner adjustment is set at size 7 right now because of the way it fits me and has plenty of room to go bigger or smaller. Email me with any questions.
