Just a disk, not a Stanford Research disk. So if it is supposed to boot up from the disk maybe it’s just the disk. But I don’t hear the drive ever make the familiar boot up noise. So if I(as a totally unqualified observer) had to speculate I would say it is more of an issue than just needing a new boot disk. Maybe just a new drive? So anyway. SR510 and SR530 Lock-In Amplifiers The SR510 and SR530 are analog lock-in amplifiers which can measure AC signals as small as nanovolts in the presence of much larger noise levels. Both the single phase SR510 and the dual phase SR530 have low-noise voltage and current inputs. High dynamic reserve, two stages of time constants, and an internal oscillator. In addition, both lock-ins come equipped with a variety of features designed to make them simple to use. Sine Wave Mixing. The core of the SR510/SR530 is a precision analog sine-wave multiplier. Lock-ins use a multiplier(demodulator) to translate the signal input(at reference frequency) down to DC where it can be filtered and amplified. Plugged unit in and all the colored lights on the panel lit up: LOCK, SEARCH ERROR, OVEN and ANT(pic 4) Info started to come up on the digital display screen. Tried to take a few pictures(5-8) but couldn't get them all since they were pretty fast. First screen said STANFORD RESEARCH SYSTEMS FS700 LORAN RECEIVER VER 1.19. Old info would scroll up when new info came up. Next thing was SYSTEM ROM TEST.PASSED. Then SYSTEM MEMORY TEST.PASSED. Then PATTERN/MEMORY TEST.PASSED. Then DAC/ADC TEST.PASSED. Then ATTENUATOR/AMPLIFIER TEST.PASSED. Then INTEGRATOR TEST.PASSED. Last screen for tests was Self Tests ALL PASSED. Then it came up with WARNING Antenna bad or not connected. Since there was no antenna connected, that is why it probably came up with that warning. Since I know NOTHING about this piece of equipment, I did not want to screw anything up, so just stopped. Stanford Research Systems Model SR540 Optical Chopper System Stanford Research Systems Model SR540 Optical Chopper system. This Model SR540 optical chopper system includes the controller unit. The SR541 chopper head, two 4” diameter chopper blades and the instruction manual. The chopper frequency is continuously variable between 4 Hz and 400 Hz using the 6 slot blade and from 400 Hz to 3.7 kHz using the 30 slot blade. The chopper frequency can be varied using a 10 turn potentiometer with 3 ranges. Alternatively, the frequency can be controlled using an external voltage control between 0 and 10 VDC. Each of the two chopper blades has two different sets of chopper slots. One blade has 5 sets of chopper slots in the inner circle, and 6 sets of slots in the outer circle.
