It has measured a lot of dBm in its time but since we have upgraded our power measurement capability, this combo is excess to our needs. This auction is for the HP 432A Power Meter. The HP 8478B 18 GHz Thermistor Mount and the interface cable. So it's ready to go- sort of"plug n' play. It measures-25 dBm to +10 dBm, from 10 MHz to18 GHz. One of the pictures shows it measuring the 1 mW, 50 MHz calibrated signal from the HP436(which is not part of this auction) and is right on. We checked the 8478B at 18 GHz and it's with in 0.2 dB there.The combo also zeros nicely on the-20 dBm range. On the only down side. For sale- a tested Transco(now Dowkey) DC to 18 GHz SPDT microwave switch. This one has a nice mounting bracket(which is removable) and a spike diode on the voltage input. We have tested this model to 26.5 GHz where it has 0.6 db insertion loss. 1.5:1 VSWR and about 75 dB isolation. At 18 GHz and below. The insertion loss is less than 0.4 db, VSWR is better than 1.4:1, and the isolation is better than 80 dB. NOTE: that this unit is similar to the model 919C70100 available from Dowkey. We will include a copy of the data sheet showing detailed specifications and hookup diagram.
