CATERPILLAR (CAT) Forklift GC25 w/ #5000lb lifting capacity
I am selling(I believe to be) an early 90 Caterpillar forklift that has a#5000lb lifting capacity. I have only had it for about 1 1/2 yrs. and it has served me well. I never had a problem with it. It was purchased from a granite counter top guy off of Craigslist. So I do not know a whole lot about the machine. But this is what I know: The good: The machine starts right up all of the time. Never had a problem. It runs well. All hydraulics work great. No leaks with the engine or hydraulic system. Triple stage mast and side shift all work well. The bad: The tires in the front are getting quite low and should be replaced. The ugly: Paint is faded(does not look like original) Has plenty of dents, dings, scratches, scuffs, chips, and whatever else you would expect from. This type of machine at this age. Lights are a bit broken up and do not work. ... moreThe seat is worn and could use a replacement. I have not used the unit that much. It was only used around 3-4 a month to unload trucks. I am selling it because I bought a New Holland machine. And I will be getting the forks along with that machine. The unit weights approx. 8800lbs. Okay.what we have is an Electric Caterpillar 6000 lb capacity Forklift with charger. The battery will not hold a charge. We borrowed a battery to check out the forklift and it runs fine.for a while. After a few minutes it just shuts down. If you let it cool off for a couple minutes it will turn back on and run for a little bit longer. We are selling our 2012 or 2013 model year caterpillar C5000 LP propane forklift. We are only selling it because we are switching over to a reach truck that is electric and will no longer need this machine it is in perfect condition with only 22 hours on the clocks it might have one or two more but aside from that it will stay parked. IT has all lights and strobe as well as side shift. The paint is great only one or two very minor scratches in it and it runs perfectly like a new truck should. We have a loading dock here and will help load but the shipping will be up to the buyer and I can supply the one propane tank with the truck to get it loaded but you need to check with your shipper if they are allowed to carry the LP tank as well.
