This lot of three saws are as follows; 101 is an H. Disston and sons Philada. on the button with the keystone and the scales of justice inside it. It also has an M scratched into one side and a B scratched into the other side. you can see some etching but can't make out a model. says 1890 in the keystone. TPI but erratic one large then a small tooth and so on. 102 is a superior warranted(on the button) w 7 TPI as well. 103 just reads Disston USA and the scales inside the keystone w 8 TPI and very light rust. Disston Phila vintage skew back cross cut saw. 26" inch blade. Nine teeth per inch. Saw blade has some pitting. Some rust and some scratches. Handle has scratches some finish worn off, paint stains, cracks and normal wear and tear. Small bend in blade. This saw is sharp. The medallion indicates this saw was made between 1917 and 1940. 3 Vintage hand saws one is Disston all in good shape
3 good old hand saws. Sharp! handles are good, one is missing a name button but that don't effect how it works! The Disston measures 26" just blade with handle it's 29" long x 6 1/4" at the widest part of the blade to 2 1/8 at the end. The middle one without the name measures, 25 1/2" long without handle, about 29" with 6" wide at the widest, 1 3/4" wide at the end. The shortest one has a stamp on the blade that reads Vulcan, I think can't read all of the button on the handle? it measures 22" long x 5" wide and 2" wide at the end. All 3 are 8 TPI, good working saws. WILL SEPARATE if you just want one.

Vintage Disston No. 12 Crosscut Hand Saw with Nib manufactured between 1896-1917. This 28" in total length Saw with 11 PPI is in very good condition for the age with Brass Saw Nuts and Medallion. Wheat design Apple Handle is in very nice condition with only the Tip of the top Horn missing and a few paint spots or specks. Blade is straight and sharp with mostly darkening of the metal from age. Very small specks of surface rust here and there. Blade Manufacture Etching is legible(see pics) but Disston Signature on the right of the Logo is not legible. A fairly rare Stanley 50-1/2 miter box w/ Henry Disston saw, I'm not sure of the date because the medallion was gone so I replaced it with the only one I had; the box is in good condition. It holds the saw square& true, cuts up to 50 degrees; the saw is straight and cut a 1x2 cleanly; it is a Disston#4 with a 26" long blade. 11 TPI; I'm not sure how to read the miter box so look at the picture closely; it has 0. 24. 12 and so on; if you know share the knowledge; a fine piece of saw history in this one. It is a fine quality saw from the early 1940’s era with 3” of cutting depth. A very clean- perfectly straight saw with a clear etch and perfect handle with original finish. No chips or cracks on the handle. It is a crosscut saw with 13ppi hand sharpened with a 15 degree rake and 20 degree fleam. A fine tooth structure for small fragile teeth that will stay sharp and have strength. A mahogany tooth guard is provided so you keep these sharpened teeth undamaged. As they are a bugger to sharpen when so fine. I wear magnifying lens and go over each tooth a couple of times to get each tooth just right with a small file. According to disstonian institute website was made between 1940 and 1947 blade and teeth seem very straight! Vintage Disston & Sons Saw No. 4 Back Saw Miter 16" Blade WWII Era
Vintage WWII Era Disston& Sons No. 4 Back Saw Miter Saw in very good condition. Handle has no issues other than normal scratches from age and use. Hardware and Medallion are in very good condition. Spine is polished Steel on a 16" straight Blade with 11 PPI. No missing teeth. Teeth appear to still be very sharp. Disston etching is very legible(see pics) Light surface rust specks and a few spots of very light pitting or darkening spots(see pics) Otherwise a nice Vintage Collectible Disston Back Saw or use it everyday. VINTAGE SET OF SLIM TAPER SAW SHARPENING FILES K&F NICHOLSON Disston Dovetail
Here we have a very nice set of 6 vintage slim taper triangle files of the type used to sharpen hand saws. These would be perfect for a dovetail or other small fine tooth saw. They measure about 4-4 1/2 inch long NOT counting the tang.About 3/16 inch across the body at the widest point All are fine and really show no signs of use and i don't think they have been, Three are K&F[ Kearney& foot] two are NICHOLSON and the last one isn't marked that i can see but looks like a quality file still.Some really nice saw sharpening files that I know you will love and will serve you well.Starting auction off low with no reserve and only $5.80 postage anywhere in the USA
