Up for auction is an Elliott Tool Technologies heat exchanger cleaning gun. Model 5224XL(I think) the ID tag is partly missing. There is a similar model made by Elliott(5224XLBMC) I've included some pics courtesy of Elliott Tool Technologies that show the 2 models and some specs. A little Googling and you can find the same info plus more. My belief is that this is the 5224XL model but am certainly not an expert. This tool is made to clean heat exchanger tubes, takes air and water(lots of it) and turns with high torque while blasting water out the front. A wide variety of attachments and nozzles can be purchased from Elliott to fit on this gun. I put the air and water to this gun and it seems to work fine, gun turns and blasts water out the front, single trigger activates both air and water, my 5 HP over 20 gallon compressor wilted quickly ... morebut the tool ran great for short bursts. This thing needs an industrial CFM supply or considerably larger portable compressor. This gun is made for industrial applications. Is very specific, spoke to a sales rep at Elliott and found that these sell for over $3300. No bull. $3300+ for one of these bad boys, I about fell over. Bought this at auction, tested it as well as I could without an industrial setting, I believe it works just fine. Dunno how many people look at or buy these things, don't know where to start on this gun, will try $499.99 with free shipping, less than a sixth of new at that price and this gun appears to be in pretty good condition, not banged or dinged up.
