The cutting dies are very nice and dont look like they have been sharpened. You can sharpen these multiple times and re-adjust them closer to cut, these dies are still all of the way out in the adjustment so they have all of their life left. Heavy Duty 7 ga. shears will run in the thousands of dollars new so here is a chance to buy one cheap. You will need to adjust the dies based on what thickness material you will be cutting. AT&T BELL SYSTEM WESTERN ELECTRIC 553A LAMP EXTRACTOR TOOL For your consideration: BELL SYSTEM WESTERN ELECTRIC 553A LAMP EXTRACTOR TOOL* MODIFIED* Overall length: 3-7/8" This lamp extractor has been modified by removal of center plastic rod. This was a MOD used by repairman who maintained large switchboard operations in cities and large corporations. In order to remove long sometimes corroded or stuck/broken lamps the center rod was removed to get a better grip on lamp as shown in last picture. I had to use fuses to demonstrate the long switchboard lamps. The extra lamp extractor.Fuses and 51A lamp are NOT included in sale! see pics for condition Make me a favorite seller and check back as I bought an out of business inventory and has a lot of interesting old telco stuff
