Rare Vintage Rollieflex Easy Grip Pistol Grip with Cable Release I am a vintage user of vintage Rolliflex and Rolliecord TLR cameras-and I really loved them. But I never really thought these were very useful. Maybe it's because I never had one or had the money to afford one back in the day. They might have been good for sports or other action shots. But that's not the point. These Easy Grips are rare and highly collectible. This is not just a Rollie brand pistol grip-this is the much more rare Easy Grip. Contoured to fit the hand. It uses the famous Rollie quick-release mechanism that clamped onto the outer groves of the tripod socket assembly. Of course. Rollie did it right-the best craftsmanship, the best accessories, the best everything. They were expensive and they made a fanfare of such accessories. Anyway, Rollieflex aficionados ... moreand collectors know what these are. There never were very many of these made, and they are now extremely hard to find. This one is in good shape and works perfectly. Note the proprietary Rollie attachment that fit the Rollie snugly. It doesn't just screw into the tripod socket. It slips over the outer assembly of the tripod socket and then clamps down via a special locking lever so that it can't accidentally unscrew or turn or loosen or fall off while in use. Other than that everything is in very good to excellent condition. The original Nikon stud is not damaged in any way and locks the camera body tightly to the pistol grip. The Pistol grip is a way to have easier control of your camera, better stability and maneuverability especially when using longer lenses.
