This is an MJ wound pickup. You can tell this by the last letter on the paper sticker on the bottom of the pickup. Though it is difficult to read in the pic. The pickup is labeled DCJ. Lighted Oreo Cookie Yo-Yo Well this is pretty darn cool I knew it when I saw it that it was something that you just don't see many of Do you have this in your collection? I started looking around on the net and there are a bunch of Oreo yo-yo's and they look just like an Oreo cookie the difference is the sides are solid dark just like the cookie. This one I could not find a picture of someone blogged"help I am looking for a light up Oreo cookie yoyo" that was the closest I could find. So here is a bunch of photos of the elusive"light up Oreo cookie Yoyo" runs on 2 AA batteries and lights up every time on the drop The sides are clear with white Oreo markings and brown Oreo design The edges are a dark ruby red and white in the middle I do not know who made this there are no markings anywhere that I found inside or ... moreout it is well made and pretty well balanced yoyo. It will need a new string as this is a little short 35" drop. It does have a couple dings you can see it in one of the pics it's not bad otherwise no gouges.Cracks or chips I try to describe all items to the best of my knowledge. But this is from my personal collection and is the original. the string may have been replaced. I can remember trying to do all those tricks that the professionals made look so easy. I never really mastered many of them but I had hours and hours of fun trying! I received this while in elementary school in the 1950's or early 1960's. It shows some wear where I have"walked the dog" but still in good shape. Wonderful bit of nostalgia. Please see pictures as they are a part of description. VINTAGE DUNCAN METER, PENNY or NICKLE SLOT & A DIME SLOT.60 MIN.INDICATOR
Up for bid is a Vintage Duncan Parking Meter that has a number 85 on the back. This is used and in good condition with a working time mechanism. The lens on this meter are clear on the front and back. The indicator such as: Time Expired is faded but the Violation indicator is in good condition. This is a 60 minute meter and keeps accurate time and in good working order. The meter has two slots. The first slot accepts nickels or pennies and the second slot accepts dimes. This meter measures 15 1/2" tall. At one time it looks like it was copper painted, which is now shows mostly red paint. There is some scuff and scratch marks on it with the paint chipping in places, this meter is missing a coin box and the key, the bottom is unlocked. Up for sale is an absolutely perfect vintage crystal clover-shaped vase in the“Canterbury” pattern by Duncan& Miller Glass! Duncan/Miller made the Canterbury pattern in 1938(during World War II. When very little European glassware was making its way into the U.S.A. The fluid shapes and varying thicknesses in the glass really capture the light beautifully! This vase is in immaculate condition– there are no chips. Cracks, flakes, fleabites, nicks or roughness anywhere, and the glass is nice and shiny– no stains, scratches, oxidation or other marks! It stands 5¼ inches high. And it measures 5 inches in diameter across the top. It stands on polished ground bottom. Nice vintage meter comes from North Little Rock Ark I worked for a company doing fire remediation. Well the NLR sheriff station burned down and it was a total loss and this was left over in the ruble. We had the right to keep anything salvageable and I found this sweet number! When you add change and turn the knob it works as it should the needle points at the appropriate time and you can hear the timer.
