Nice vintage. Solid brass meter cover, with intact glass lens. Made by Hersey-Sparling Water Meter Company and installed in Dedham, Massachusetts, probably in the 1960s or 1970s. The meter cover bears a serial number 4812598. Item is 3 inches in diameter, excluding the little screw feet, and weighs one pound. The inside is shiny, as can be seen in the last photo. With a little cleaning/polishing, the outside can look equally good. Makes a great desk paperweight or display item, but I've seen a few of these used for making clocks and they really look good! Like all of my other items. This is a No Reserve auction. A modest starting bid of $7.50 is all I ask. Shipping weight will be approximately 2 pounds. For sale at a fixed price is this cold war vintage Civil Defense Radiation Meter. It is designed to function together as a set and it consists of a Bendix Dosimeter Charger Model 906 CD V 750 and a Bendix CD V-138 Radiation Pocket Detector. The detector is placed on the charger to read. Recalibrate and charge up. Inside the charger runs on one flashlight battery(not included) This one has a scale of 0-200 Milliroentgens. The dosimeter does function with the charger and displays the scale. We have not tested it with a radiation source so we're not sure if it holds a charge or accurately displays radiation exposure and we are selling it as a collectible and curiosity. Condition is nice. I have up for auction a Vintage 1978 Chinon CS 35mm SLR film camera with camera case bottom only. A Focal f/3.5 200 mm lens and a Vivitar 58 mm UV-Haze filter with filter case. Everything is in working order and in great physical condition.The light seals and mirror bumper pad have been replaced. Self-timer works. I installed a battery and the meter works; responsive to light, f stop and shutter changes. Shutter sounds accurate. I’ll include the battery with the camera and two rolls of 35mm film. The camera body has no dings or dents. There is a small piece of leather missing from the side of the prism housing(see pictures) There is some dust and specks in the viewfinder that will not affect picture quality. The camera does need a good cleaning. Fantastic working vintage camera and lens for a great price. The Focal 200 mm f/3.5 Auto Telephoto ... morelens is for all Universal(M42) screw mount cameras. The aperture works great. Focus is smooth, no dings, dents or scratches. The glass is clean and clear; shows no signs of fungus or coating separation. Condition is Excellent. I got this on trade. It is a Fischer sw-12 diathermy machine, I don't know a lot about it, if interested and need more info check out the Electrotherapy museum on the internet, they have one just like it with a lot of info on it. This one will power on but I did not hit the plate switch for full power, but the tubes lite up, there are all types of attachments in the draws, along with the foot pedal, most items are marked Fischer, there are also copies of the pattend and instructions for use, the tubes are also orginal and marked Fischer.
