As for this particular photometer. I am unsure as to whether or not it is in working condition due to lacking the knowledge required to operate such a device. I am selling this AS-IS. Schmidt, a professional and free-lance photographer who shot many weddings in the 1940's, 50's, and 60's in the Milwaukee area. Vintage Sekonic L-II2 Universal Exposure Meter
My Dad was interested in photography from Navy days sailing the Mediterranean in the 50's. Till he finally got a digital camera and amassed hundreds of pictures on it. He was also an engineer and as such over the years acquired quite a collection of photographic odds and ends, cameras, meters and parts which I am selling for his estate, to benefit Mom. This is one of those items, A Sekonic L-II2 Universal Exposure Meter that appears to be an engineer's dream. Made of highly enameled metal meter appears to work- at least the needle moves in response to light- but no guarantee is made as to the accuracy of the piece. This is a vintage GE made in the USA analog amp meter. From the design. I'd guess it was made in the late 60's/early 70's. Marked X4 442 on the back side. I tested the functionality by briefly connecting a 9v battery to the meter. The needle responded normally. Mild to moderate cosmetic wear. Scuffs to the faceplate. Calibration screw has wear. There is a bit of debris inside the unit that makes noise when you shake it. Probably a bit of dirt, shouldn't affect the functionality, but I thought I should mention it. This is a vintage RCA analog multi-purpose meter. It includes the bottom part of the original box. As well as the mount nuts. I tested the functionality by briefly connecting a 9 v battery to the meter. The needle responded normally. The previous owner wrote 260 ohm 400 uA on the back side. Mild to moderate cosmetic wear. Up for sale is a Vintage Pal Electronics Vacuum Tube amplifier for a ham radio. I have only tried this one time and did get a report back as being heard loud and clear. The tube lights and you can hear the high frequency generator powering up when you key up. That being said. I have no way to actually test the output or even test the tube individually to gauge its performance. I know that my signal got through, but I do not know if the unit truly works properly or if my base carrier is all that got through. I am therefore selling it as a parts unit. Found in dumpster waste from a closed major supermarket chain. It is very old-school and would look great in public-view bakery scenario. I have no reason to believe it does not work as it was in use one month before store closing. But I will hook up and test if asked. The thermometer is dead on temp-wise. Depending on the interest and bids, I will replace broken handle(plastic) on hand nozzle and thoroughly clean the outside, so it will be ready to install. I have the OEM Plexiglas face-shield soaking and will polish it clear. This old meter is solid brass and bronze and is heavy at 35+ pounds! Vintage 1960's Duncan Miller Parking Meter Lamp - City of Chicago
This is a very nice Duncan Chicago Coin Operated 5& 10 Cent Parking Meter Light Lamp with 2 Keys. The gold finish is very nice. It is fully operational. When you insert a coin. Nickel or dime it starts the counter, the light then operates for the time permitted. 2 hour max When time is up the light shuts off. This has the trip lever to make it a normal lamp that turns on at the light switch and not the meter. This lamp is a very nice conversational piece as well as a nice vintage display piece for your home. The lamp stands 17 inches in height 32" with the shade and weighs 20 lbs. The cord is in great shape. This is in great shape no issue other then some dust in some cracks and the lamp shade has been vacuumed as well.
