Unusual Vintage Wella Moving Coil Meter, 40V FSD, Tested, Art Deco Logo
Wella(the hair products company) was founded in Germany in the late 19th C and I imagine that this meter is from one their commercial appliances- 1920s or 30s. The Wella logo suggests the Art Deco period but is not too different from the current logo. The meter is in working order. Connections are made by removing the out case and leads come out through an opening at the top of the casing. Dimensions: Bezel is 63mm diameter. Body is 80mm diameter and the overall depth is 60mm. This Japanese stainless steel tape measure is probably 50 or so years old. And measures up to 10 meters. The maker's mark on the tape says Tokyo, under which is a logo. The covering on the outer case is made of real leather. The handwritten writing on one side appears to be a name. This tool is in basically good condition. It appears to have a water proof case so maybe they climbed the antenea during a storm to figure out why the wife couldn't see or hear her soap opera? I don't know if it works or if you could get a signal now if the old tv could even understand the signal. History: My father was in the US Air Force and was a radio operator. He retired and they hired him as a civilian associate. For as long as I can remember. My father collected radios and restored them. He worked on Radios, TVs and HAM radios for anyone who asked him. Here is a great little light meter with the name Ocean Adviser on the leather case. It does come in the original leather case. The case is also marked Japan. It is about the size of a 50 cent piece. Looks to be in great condition with the exception of some slight green discoloration around the edge of the dial in the front. I did wipe some of it off with just my fingernail. Would assume that it will clean up ok. There is some wear at the snap area on the front cover. I also appears to have an attachment on the back? Not sure though.

Vintage Cast Iron Bathroom Scale 1940s Health O Meter Made In USA Up for bidding is a" Health O Meter" bathroom scale. Made of cast iron and possible some porcelain coated surface made in the USA. I believe the scale to be made about 1930s 40s. Although there is no date on the scale. This is a RARE find as this particular model is not easily found. The scale has some serious age, but gives it a shabby-chic feel. This is one of the earlier home use scales or possibly doctors office. Scale works, tested it and was spot on. Condition is a overall nice one scuff in front and small piece nicked out of the rubber foot mat as shown can be touched up easily. Has no rust, showing the original paint. I cleaned it up some before I took the photos but didn't spend much time in the corner and cracks. Could use a good cleaning. Would make ... morea nice display piece for the right person. Top piece where you stand is made of glass and a chrome ring outside scale weighs up to a hundred and then the inside dial will weigh by the 100lbs Scale is adjustable just like modern scales, goes up to 300 lbs. Hickok Model 49X meter movement is a 4 1/2" meter with 1 MA full scale meter movement with scales for reading from 0 to 10v AC/DC. 0 to 50v, 0 to 250v, 0 to 500v and 0 to 1000v. The 1000 ohms per volt resistors for these ranges are not included. There is also an ohms scale of 0 to 10,000 ohms. The auction is for the meter movement with scale only. 1920's- 1930's or earlier The American Meter Co. New York. Meter, or pump of some kind. I researched this piece, and could not find another one like it. It is brass and copper, with glass tubes at both ends. The band around the center reads 1/10 cu. ft. The round plate above that has the number 1050, and above that is the American Meter brass plate logo. There is a thin metal twist tie, with a round stamped tag that reads, B.S. No.2225 1934. On the other side of this tag is a logo that says National Bureau of Standards. A water meter/pump? I just have no idea! What ever this is, it is very cool looking, made of great materials, brass, copper& glass, and is a nice early piece! Measures approx. 19 inches long. PAYMENT DUE WITHIN 48 HOURS. This is a vintage FA-6227 P-S Meter Panel Ground Beacon RTB-2. The panel label states it is RTN Equipment(receive. Transmit, navigation? and was made for the Federal Aviation Agency by ITT Federal Division of International Telephone and Telegraph Corp. It appears to have been used for tuning radar and ground beacons as it has meters for DC voltage. DC current, 3 AC line voltages(phase A-B, B-C, and A-C) Klystron beam current, Klystron filament hours and Klystron HV hours. It has multi-position switches for the DC voltage and DC load current to control mode and range. These are standard Honeywell Marion Instruments type 53SN, 53SN-AC meters and 53 Set hour usage counters. Each meter has a.01 mfd 1200V Mica capacitor installed across it's terminals. The panel is aluminum and appears to be rack mountable. It is 26-1/4 inches wide by 8 inches ... moretall. The mounting holes are 25 inches on center. It is about 6 inches deep. The wiring is still in place but has been cut where it ran into the equipment rack. Item is sold as is. Vintage 4" Anemometer by Davis of Derby No Z.A 155 Vintage air flow meter or Anemometer. ByDavjis of Derby. I think In full working order. The vanes turn with the gentlest breeze and all the dials register as they should, however there is some play, the rotor can move back and forward. After tilting forward(dials down) the device works well, if tipped back first the rotor touches and rattles and stops. Perhaps normal, perhaps missing a collet or worn. See video below. This is a well used item and comes with a super sturdy leather case. Which also indicates it was calibrated on 10/1/1951. Originally. This device would have been used in mines to measure airflow, but has now been superseded by more modern digital equipment.
