The scope is a solid state portable instrument that combines small size and light weight with the ability to make precision waveform measurements. It is designed for general purpose applications where display storage is desired along with conventional(non-store) operation. It is a dual-channel DC-to-25 MHz vertical system and provides calibrated deflection factors from 1 millivolt to 10 volts/division. The trigger circuits provide stable triggering over the full range of vertical frequency response although this unit triggers reliably to 50 MHz(not guaranteed) as shown in the second picture. The horizontal deflection system provides calibrated unmagnified sweep rates from 5 seconds to 0.2 μ sec.division. This unit has option 1 which provides 5 Div/ μ sec. The ... moreunit is a clean working oscilloscope and comes with a front cover. The traces are bright and clear and focus properly. All knobs and switches seem to work correctly. I have checked out the unit which seems to closely track both frequency and amplitude of my high-end synthesized signal generator. Although unfamiliar with the storage operation. I have played with it and it seems to store signals although they appear light after storage. This may be due to needing adjustment/calibration. Last calibration due date on the cabinet sticker shows it is past due for calibration. Overall this is a nice scope and would be a nice addition to any Lab or anyone’s Electronics Workshop or Ham Radio Shack. This unit is in good physical shape as shown by the pictures. Unit serial number is B516052. The unit is vintage test equipment so cannot be guaranteed to be in calibration but will be functionally checked again just prior to packaging for shipment. Hello. Up for Bidding is a Tektronix Model 2235 Chassis for Parts Only. As you can see from the pictures I took. There is a lot of stuff missing, BUT this was a Working 2235 scope before I started to take parts off of it. When I bought this scope. It was Badly Damaged, The CRT was Broken, and the Front Panel was cracked and broken in many places. It looked like the unit was dropped from a work bench on to the concrete floor. The Cabinet was really bent out of shape too! Scrapped) Well I removed the old broken crt. I then installed a spare that I had at the time and what do you know, everything worked Great. Heck even the calibration was spot on too. The real problem was the badly cracked front panel assembly. I tried to remove it figuring I could glue things back together again. But it was a real waste of time. A Few Plastic pieces were missing ... moreand so I decided to use what I had left for a Parts Unit. The reason I am selling this unit now is because I decided to stop working on the 2200 series of Tektronix Oscilloscope. I would be happy to sell this chassis for a dollar or two. I am offering you a tested good Tek p/n 333-3554-00 knob panel to fit a 2445B. 2455B, 2465B, or 2467B scope. Tek would have charged at least $1000 for one of these. A horiz"variable" knob got broken off(common shipping accidents for those who don't pack scopes carefully) along with a piece of its stem(remaining stem is too short to just add knob) Should be fine if you don't ever use uncalibrated sweep speeds, or just want to buy it for parts, or if you have a magical way to stretch a stem.
