Vintage Heathkit GD-1B Grid Dip Meter w/Coils - Ham Radio Testing GD1B
This is a Heathkit model# GD-1B Grid Dip Meter from a local Ham Radio Operator's estate sale. It appears to be complete. In good condition, but it is not tested and is sold as-is. It includes the complete set of five coils and the original box for carrying them. An internal AC power supply is supplied. The AC power cord has some black plastic tape near the 2-pin AC plug, that's the only thing I see that may need replacement. All controls and switches move freely. This would be a great piece of test equipment for your vintage Ham Radio test bench. And for building and testing receivers, transmitters and antennas. A copy of the assembly and instructions manual is included- downloaded from the RadioAmateur.EU web site- please check it out to see all the functions that this Grid Dip Meter can perform! HeathKit AA-1650 Power Amplifier from 1976 in perfect working condition! These are getting hard to find these days. Especially in clean operating condition. These sold for $440 in 1976 which was about a half to a third of what most people made per month! I'm getting older. Kids are out of college, and thinking of moving overseas in retirement so toys have to go. I used this for quite a while to power my VMPS 15" subwoofers, and used a pair of 300b tube amps to power my 300Hz Altec horns. Sounded fantastic! I have even completed the famous mod that bypasses the diode and prevents possbility of runaway. Amp is very heavy at 58lbs before boxing. It is rated at 200 watts RMS per channel a 8ohms. Very Nice HEATHKIT IT-3117 Tube Checker Tester RARE and Working Vintage Tubes
Here's a great Heathkit IT-3117 Tube Checker(tester) This is the last of the Heathkit made testers. It tests darn near every tube ever made. 4, 5, 6, pin vintage tubes, miniatures, loctals, and more. This is in very nice clean condition. I tested a few random tubes and got the expected results(they were known good tubes) Obviously I can't test every switch and knob combination and I would imagine if you were going to put this into regular use all the controls and switches, as well as the tube sockets should be cleaned, but it's looking and working good. Worth noting that the original knob for the filament setting is cracked and not on the unit as it slips, but it will be included. The replacement knob has the indicator line in the wrong place in relation to the set screw and flat side of the switch shaft, so there's a small ... morenotch in the skirt of the knob to indicate correct position. Vintage Heathkit GR-81 General Coverage Regenerative Receiver. Dates from the early 1960's to 1971. Covers 140 kHz to 18 mHz which includes broadcast. Shortwave, and some ham radio bands. The longwave band has little activity these days. The radio works well and is a lot of fun to use the regeneration, tuning, and volume knobs to dial in a station. The better antenna the better the results. A fresh 12AT7 tube has been installed. The workmanship of the wiring is excellent. There is a slight capacitor hum. All feet that normally break are present. There is some corrosion on the top of the chassis. Regen and volume knobs are cracked. Not noticeable but knobs do wobble a bit. Vintage Heathkit single bander SSB transceiver model HW-32A with cable and mic
I can not guarantee the working condition of this unit. It was in a electronic repair shop that went out of business. I bought the building and all contents. Below are the specs per radiomusuem.org. Classic Heathkit DX-100B in remarkably good condition! Rated 100 Watts on AM. 120 Watts on CW(Input) covers 80- 10 meters. No WARC band coverage as there were no WARC bands when this transmitter was manufactured. Dates from the late 1950's- a true classic! All tubes checked- three were weak. A 1625 modulator, a 6146 final, and a 12AX7 amplifier, which have been replaced with checked good ones. Working Vintage Heathkit DX-60 Radio Transmitter with Microphone and Power Meter
You are bidding on a working vintage Heathkit DX-60 AM/CW five band transmitter(80-10 meters) With a D-104 microphone and a Heathkit HM-11 Reflected Power Meter. The physical condition of the transmitter is an 8.5 out of 10. There is full specified output on all bands with a crystal or an external VFO. When connected to a properly tuned antenna. All tubes and components have been checked and any bad, weak or questionable tubes or components have been replaced. The power supply electrolytic capacitors in the transmitter and the final 6146 tube have been replaced. I have added a 3PDT relay for full PTT operations. When tuning, the PTT on the microphone must be pressed to activate the relay. The key jack is wired so as to engage the relay when the key plug is inserted. The transmitter is designed to use a straight key for CW operation. The audio ... morecircuit has been rebuilt with a cathode feedback circuit with an over modulation indicator. The over modulation indicator is the red LED in the top left corner of the meter. A 3 wire power cord replaced the worn 2 wire power cord. I have added a fuse holder to the bottom of the chassis next to the power transformer. Included is a printed copy of the DX-60 transmitter with the schematic of the audio circuit update. Also included with the DX-60 are the D-104 microphone and the HM-11 reflected power meter. It is important to note that the cartridge in the microphone has been changed to a condenser microphone cartridge and has great output and sound. The DX-60 transmitter, microphone and HM-11 are sold AS IS but not DOA with no returns as they are more than 48 years old. Please email me if you have any questions. But it has not been tested, was in working condition about a year ago according to previous owner. All knobs and switches are intact, the glass cover over the gauge is nice and clear, but two screws are missing from the sides of the unit that hold the cover down. Vintage Heathkit Ham Radio Electronics. Models MT-1 and MR-1. And they are complete and heavy. Nice shape. Untested(no cables of any kind, but all knobs work) Very little rust on the metal case, and I barely wiped it off for pics. I'm going to try it once like this, then clean it.
