Racal-Dana 1.3GHz Universal Counter This is a super-accurate counter in very good working and cosmetic condition. This counter has the coveted 04E(ultra-high stability) oven-oscillator timebase. I calibrated it within the last year against a Trimble Thunderbolt GPS disciplined reference. It is shown in the picture counting the output of a cheap(non-oven) 10MHz signal generator(which was surprisingly accurate to within 4Hz! But the counter itself is accurate well below 1Hz. The buttons on this unit are in nice condition and work and feel good. The unit has a solid, all metal enclosure. The top has a couple of small dings(shown in the picture) which do not affect the functionality. All feet and the stand/carry handle are included. All momentary switches are good and have a nice tactile feel. Unit is clean and in good shape. Power cable is included. Nothing else included. I have attached pictures of an Agilent counter and signal generator to demonstrate the error displayed by the Racal Dana counter. The Agilent frequency counter has a GPS controlled clock with the error shown in the lower left corner of the monitor screen. Since the Agilent counter has a very low error it can be compared to the Racal Dana counter that is operating on its own timebase. Last calibration info is not available.
