For sale is a used HP 4352A Microwave Frequency Counter. The unit powers up and functions the majority of the time. Every once in a while the unit will power up and then start cycling off and on. This has been notice most often when the unit is cold(below 50 degrees Fahrenheit) The test frequencies in the second and third pictures are 100 MHz as measured on the low frequency input and 1600 MHz as measured on the high frequency input. There is no calibration history on the unit. The unit has the GPIB interface and includes the Operations Manual. This is a no return listing so please ask questions prior to purchase. Cannot speak to it's calibration accuracy as it has not been recently calibrated(nor has the signal generator we used to test it to 2.7 GHz) Has a small impact fracture in the red display filter. I have been using this while testing and repairing various HP RF and Microwave equipment for the last few months. It is clean and reliable. The pictures show measurement of frequencies up to 8.4Ghz which is the highest signal source I have in my home lab. ALso. The pictures show top, sides and rear to be clean and the front panel is free of sticker scrapes, gouges and residue. The freuency measurements are all done at an output of-2dbm and a 10db attenuator for a signal level of-12dbm. I will include power cord and a collection of manuals on USB jump drive. Using in this case the-hp- 10811 oven, one of the best ever made; the input level measuring facility(Opt 002) the Option 004 Digital to Analog convertor, and the HPIB interface Option 011. I have set the OCXO against a GPS standard after 24 hours of warm up but accuracy depends slightly on the unit's final position. Included is an original paper copy of the Operating and Service Manual Part Number 05342-90013. The rear panel OCXO output is at TTL level. Per the manual, in case you were expecting a sine wave.

Calibration sticker still in place shows not opened since last good cal. Some times you find these units with the protective film never having been removed. It yelolos and becomes discolored in time. I am not sure if there is a crack running down the face or if the chip at top ends perfectly aligned with a crease in the film.
