Also has a built-in roll chart for tube test set-up. Test sockets for:4,5,6,7 pin early type tubes, 8 pin octal and loctal tube, 7,9.10 pin miniature tubes, 5,7 pin nuvistor tubes, 9 pin novar tubes and 12 pin compactron tubes. All switches, controls and socket were cleaned, circuit capcitor replaced. Good power cord and grid cap lead. Also has a good roll chart window. Up for bids is the Heathkit IG-37 FM Stereo Generator. The Stereo Generator is in very good condition. The front panel is very clean. All the knobs are clean originals. I removed the knobs. Cleaned the front and the knobs and replaced them carefully. The top has a small mark from adhesive. I also cleaned the top, but the mark is still visible. There are a few scratches on the top, overall, it looks good and the unit is very clean. The electronics within are also very clean. All tubes are tested and some were replaced as required. All controls work properly and the contacts and controls were cleaned. The Stereo Generator powers up and I do read the correct secondary voltages at the filter capacitor pins below the chassis. The Stereo Generator is offered with its original RF type probe with two clips. The original Assembly Manual is also included. ... moreIt too is in good condition, it does NOT have the check marks on each step of the assembly instructions as most of these assembly manuals do. The Stereo Generator is otherwise untested. It came from the radioman's items. He used all his equipment up until recently and was downsizing his shop. Heathkit IG-102 RF Generator, Tested on Video, w/Leads and Manual
This is a fully functional HEATHKIT IG-102 RF Generator. This unit can be set to any desired frequency from about 100Khz to 110 Mhz via a 6 position range switch and and adjustable vernier dial and pointer. It produces either unmodulated or modulated(400hz tone) RF frequencies with adjustable attenuation via a 3 position coarse and a continuously variable fine attenuation control. This unit is useful anywhere an AM modulated or unmodulated RF signal between 100Khz and 110 Mhz is needed like: testing filter circuits. Adjusting tuners, receivers. shortwave radios, transceivers and any other kinds of frequency sensitive circuit devices. A needed tool for most any workbench! It is in very good physical and functional condition. The cabinet looks nearly new. With a fresh paint job. This unit originally came missing a modulation transformer. I ... morepurchased another unit and took the transformer from it to complete this job. A new tube was installed as well. It has had the new BNC connectors installed in place of the original style microphone"button" connector. This gives you easy latitude to obtain and use any number of coaxial test leads and connectors commonly used on today's benches(I felt this was important to do) I provide a brand new coaxial BNC terminated set of test leads with gator clip ends to start you off. The switches have been cleaned. The controls have been cleaned and lubricated. And the unit was adjusted for output over all ranges. I checked the electrolytic capacitors for condition and filtration. I like my cabinets to look good. So the cabinet has been cleaned. Then Painted and it looks marvelous! The only objection I have is a couple of light small scratches on front panel(see the photos) Overall. The results were very pleasing. Please see the photos and watch the video to see for yourself!
