Heathkit IG-102 RF Signal Generator Tested and Excellent Cosmetically
If you are looking for a very nice Heathkit signal generator. Look no farther. Excellent graphics.The freq range is 100KC trough 220MC in six bands with a 2% accuracy. The output is 50 ohms and the signal can be internally modulated with 400 cps. Now, this is not a lab quality instrument but is accurate enough to align vintage radios nicely. I restore radios as a hobby and use one just like it. The chassis and components are very clean. It is vintage test gear but I cleaned pots and aligned each band to spec. This is demonstrated with the photos. My frequency counter would not go into band F so I did not show the signal on it but it is good. Also notice the last photo that shows the modulated 400 signal. Heathkit TC-2P/ TC-2 Tube Tester- Calibrated- Nice! Here's a nice Heathkit model TC-2P tube tester. The"P" is for portable- it has a lid. I like the TC-2P because it has the protective lid which was omitted from the later Heath testers. It also has the old 4. 5, 6& 7-pin sockets you need if you're restoring vintage radios. Of course it also has the"modern" octal, loctal, 7-pin miniature and 9-pin miniature sockets too. The test circuit of the TC-2 and TC-2P is identical to Heath's later models TC-3, IT-21, IT-17 and IT-3117, and was borrowed from the Triplett model 3413, as were the Eico models 625 and 628 and the Knight KG-600 series of testers. As a result, the test data for all these testers is generally interchangeable. If you need setup data that isn't on the roll chart, all the data that is available ... moreon the WEB for the Heath, Eico and Knight testers can be downloaded and used with your TC-2P! However, a bit of translation is needed. For some obscure reason Heath lettered their tube pin switches instead of numbering them the same as the tube pins they connected, like Eico and Knight. But if you can figure out that A=1, B=2, etc. you won't have any trouble using all the other data. It makes a great sanity check, too. If you aren't getting the reading you expect, and suspect there is an error in the roll chart(which there sometimes is) just use setup data from one of the other testers and see if your results differ significantly. To ensure accuracy of a newly built kit. Heath didn't provide any calibration adjustments for this model tester, relying instead on the inherent accuracy achieved by the use of close tolerance components in the measuring circuits. Calibration consists of ensuring that all these components, including the meter, are within tolerance. This has been done. Out of tolerance components have been replaced with modern, more stable types, and this instrument is working as it should on all ranges. It is shown in the second photo testing a new 6

HEATHKIT HR-1680 RECEIVER Amateur HAM Band RADIO 10-80M Shortwave USB LSB CW VTG
Up for 3-Day auction is a vintage Heathkit model HR-1680 amateur radio receiver in VG+ condition. Works fine on all 6 bands. Both dial lights working, and with only very light wear. All controls work smoothly and evenly. Front panel excellent, all print excellent, all knobs excellent, and the red plastic window with only very light wear, cabinet also with only light wear, AC power cord is fine, the plug is missing the ground pin. The S-meter is working(the movement is fine) but the needle doesn't move when stations are tuned in, so am assuming that an internal setting adjustment needs to be made. Also I see no apparent modifications, no internal speaker, no extra holes anywhere, no loose wires, etc. I am not a ham, so cannot attest that this set is perfectly tweaked, it operates fine on all bands but may need some adjustment.

Heathkit IG-102 Signal Generator in Excellent Calibrated Condition This signal generator is guaranteed to work as described or you can return it for a refund of your purchase price. Shipping is not refundable. This Heathkit signal generator is in great well cared for condition. It has been checked out and the Heathkit calibration procedure performed. This generator works like a new one and puts out a stable modulated signal from the AM broadcast band up to 22 MHZ which was the highest frequency I could personally check with my SW receiver. I was able to check the frequency output up to 40 MHZ with my bench counter and it worked perfectly to that range. I am sure it is working up to the 200 MHZ range as it should. But I am unable to positively verify that with my bench equiptment. The chassis is very clean wel constructed without corrosion ... moreor other signs of damage or abuse. The generator is very accurate and I have included a couple of pictures showing its output into an HP counter. All chassis components have been checked out. The tubes were checked and found to be strong. All controls operate perfectly and all pots and switches have been cleaned with contact cleaner. The front panel does have some minimal small markings on a couple of places around the dial but they are very minor. see picture 12) As you can see in the pictures this IG-102 is in great condition and has been well cared for. The knobs and case are in excellent condition as are the power cord and the handle. This generator is very accurate across its range and is linear. Compact, and reliable, a great addition to your bench if you are repairing and maintaining broadcast or Ham receivers. A very high quality new input cable terminated in a RCA connector with a BNC adaptor is included. see picture 7) Please see my feedback. Heathkit SB-221 2 KW PEP Amateur Radio Linear Amplifier with Harbach upgrades
This amplifier is being sold for parts. The 3-500Z finals seem to be in good condition and have been used conservatively. A problem exists in the RF output circuit as I see it. It operates properly in feed-through mode. Several Harbach Electronics upgrade circuits have been installed. The"Soft start module, low current keying circuit, an improved fan, a new HV DC power circuit board, and improved parasitic suppressors for the final output RF circuit. Chassis is in good condition, with some normal wear and tear. The unit is currently wired for 240 volt AC input voltage, which can be changed to 120 if desired, but I don't recommend it! VINTAGE HEATHKIT MT-1/MR-1/UT-1/AK-7/E-V 727 ORIG MIC SETUP!
I have for sale a great little AM setup- my vintage Heathkit MT-1 Cheyenne Transmitter; MR-1 Comanche Receiver; matching UT-1 Power Supply; AK-7 Speaker; original Electro-Voice 727 Mic and its optional stand and the original Heathkit Manuals for the transmitter. Receiver and power supply. Included in the auction are the interconnecting cables with their proper 6-pin Jones plugs and sockets. And also a short RG-8X jumper between the Mt-1 and MR-1. I spent some time over the past few months getting these back on the air. In the receiver. I have replaced the pesky S-Meter Zero pot which although wirewound, had several spots that wouldn't conduct, so I could never get the meter zeroed. Replaced the tubes and realigned it and it hears really well. I replaced the tubes in the Transmitter and realigned it. Not having a spare 6146. I just kept ... morethe one that was in it, and it puts out 30-40W which for a single 6146 is pretty respectable. I've had the rigs on 7290kHz in 40Meters and have received some very good audio reports. Not bad. Considering that this transmitter has controlled-carrier audio, not plate-modulated AM. Although its output on 75Meters is pretty good on my wattmeter, I haven't had any QSOs on 75 because the noise on that band is bad at night where my QTH is(NC) I have recapped the UT-1 power supply and also added a line fuse which you can see in the photo. I had the original El-Menco fused plug. But I thought it would be far better to use a modern grounding plug setup. It's a fun little AM setup. But I am selling it to make some room for other gear I want to unpack and get going once again. This is what Heathkit would have sold as the base-station setup for this transmitter and receiver. You'll note that the cabinets are bolted together. This was illustrated in the Manuals as a suggestion for mobile operation. For me, it was a matter of saving space on the shack table. For your consideration is this Heathkit HX-30 6 Meter SSB Transmitter that recently came from an estate. It looks to have been taken care of. With minor scratches on its cabinet. It is untested except I did plug it in for a few seconds to see the tubes start to light up. It looks pretty nice all around. The knobs have a little tarnish on them. Some came off with a wet rag, and I think a little wax may clean up the rest. I don't think it has been used in a long time, but looks to have been well taken care of. Heathkit Apache TX-1 AM HAM Transmitter
Vintage Heathkit Apache TX-1 AM HAM transmitter. I purchased this about 4 years ago with the expectation of getting a Ham license but that never happened. I went over it and replace all the filter and paper capacitors and any out of tolerance resistors. Checked all tubes and replaced any weak ones and also replaced the HV rectifier tubes. Replaced a broken copper tuning strip with a synthetic belt. The cooling fan was also replaced with a muffin fan. I did power it up without the HV rectifier tubes and there were no obvious faults. I never operated the transmitter but the previous owner had used it and made some minor mods(power line fusing and a VOX setup) Unit cosmetically is in good to very good condition with some minor scratches on the cabinet. I've listed this as pickup only but if you are willing to pay the high shipping costs(weights ... moreabout 95 lbs) I can crate it up(at my cost) and ship it out(Canada or USA) to you once you add the additional shipping and insurance costs. Here we have a vintage Heathkit Vacuum Tube Voltmeter. Model V-7. The meter is in very good shape. Outside is dusty, inside is very clean, with no battery damage. There are a couple of scuffs on the meter cover, but no cracks or breaks. The ac power cord has tape on the plug end as well. I cannot tell if the meter is accurate, since I do not have the probes, but it does power up when plugged in, as the indicator light comes on. You are bidding on one HEATHKIT HP-1144 POWER SUPPLY FOR THE SB-104 SERIES TRANSCEIVER 12 VOLT OUTPUT. I don't have the 104 anymore. But the power supply was working great. I hate to make that statement"It was working, the last time I used it" It is NOT mint, just a power supply that you can put on the floor, run any 12 volt transceiver and you have the bonus of being able to put you feet on it, as it won't hurt the looks. Some crazy, took a piece of the vent out of the top and drilled a hole in the case, as you can see from the picture. So, it is'AS IS' What you see in the pictures, is what you will receive. There is no manual. The weight for shipping is 18 pounds.
