HARMONY/GPI VERTICAL BALER MODEL: M72HD This 72" heavy duty vertical baler is a recent trade-in from a customer who depreciated it out and wanted to replace it with a new one. It is one of the nicest used balers we have seen in some time. The powerful 20 H.P. motor and super fast hydraulic re-gen system make short work of baling cardboard. Paper, non-ferrous, fabric or plastics. The 7" cylinder and 20 h.p. motor produce over 92,360 lbs. of packing force. The heavy duty cylinder has a massive 22" x 22" x 2.5" thick steel mounting plate. These are being sold in two separate auctions so buy one or both. They are in good working condition and were still being used when they were removed for the newly leased ones. I also have two in Akron. OH ready to go. I have been dealing with banks and leasing companies since 1999 so they do not have to deal with all of the logistics of moving these(they weigh about 4500lbs. and deal with end users.I do sell a lot of the ones that need repairs for very low prices to people who can change a switch or replace a hydraulic line or put new seals in a cylinder. Sometimes the only thing wrong is someone loaded it unevenly and cracked the crush plate and just needs welded. Most of my sales are to businesses who need one for their own company or like a person starting a recycling company who use them for efficiency reasons(it is a lot easier to move ... morea truck full of baled aluminum cans or bales of copper pipe or automotive parts or even household goods like cardboard) in a single truckload to a recycling station and get paid for much higher volumes than it is to keep running small loads in a pick up truck and having to sort piece by piece by what kind of metal it is than it is to fill up a semi van full of the same baled materials and drive over a scale. Have them unload it and get a nice check instead of getting $20 for the pick up truck load. Normally this kind of equipment is out of most peoples price range, you can see older ones that someone has"refurbished" which really means a paint job. I try to keep mine under $7500 for ones that are ready to go to work. If you are a handy man who knows how to weld because sometimes the base pressure plate cracks or the hydraulic ram needs new seals put in because it is leaking. I can sell these units for around $2500 sometimes less. Parts are readily available and I usually have a few parts units that are used for parts only so I will help you out with parts you may need down the road and sell as used parts. It is just easier to use the expensive parts off a parts unit
