Charger, tool kit, lens cloth, rain cover, and manual. I put the battery ... moreon the charger and it charged up fairly quickly. It appears to have only been used a few times, and it was not used comercially. It has never been wet. This was one of many high-end tools sold at a local estate auction recently. It was used by a private individual, and does not show any wear or use marks. The case has a few minor scuffs, but I would grade this unit as like-new. There is not one mark or scuff on the unit itself, truly like new. The rain cover has never been out of the case, and the lens cloth has never been out. I don't think the tools have been out of the kit either. There is a number on the side, UN 5278" I think this is the serial number. I believe this unit is about 5-6 years old. It turns on and goes through some electronic adjustments, I have no idea how to"operate" this equipment, so I will only say that it should operate as new due to the condition it is in and what I know of the former owner. FOR SALE A TopCon DM-C2 Electronic Distance Meter(EDM) This electronic distance meter was originally mounted on top of a Lietz TM-6 theodolite and used for land surveying before total stations came into common use. The EDM is very accurate out to one-half mile or more. But requires that the vertical angles needed for slope corrections be measured with the theodolite. The unit requires peaking of the return signal strength be done with the vertical and horizontal motions of the theodolite. Then the signal strength is manually attenuated to a usable level on the signal strength meter. The battery needs to be re-celled. The unit is in like new condition. I fired it up in the yard and turned some angles and shot some distances just to see how it worked, it works just fine and the optics are fine but I never had it out surveying so have no idea if it is in calibration or not? It comes with what you see in the photos, a just recelled handle battery and another that takes a charge but I have no idea how long it will hold a charge, single prism, instruction manual, charger and a nice Trimble padded case that is obviously not original to this instrument(but is a nice case) According to the specs. this is a 3 second instrument and shoots distances to about a mile so plenty sufficient for any kind of normal land surveying. FOR SALE A TopCon DM-C2 Surveying Electronic Distance Meter(EDM) This s urveying electronic distance meter was originally mounted on top of a Lietz TM-6 theodolite and used for land surveying before total stations came into common use. The EDM is very accurate out to one-half mile or more. But requires that the vertical angles needed for slope corrections be measured with the theodolite. The unit requires peaking of the return signal strength be done with the vertical and horizontal motions of the theodolite. Then the signal strength is manually attenuated to a usable level on the signal strength meter. The battery needs to be re-celled. The unit is in like new condition. I have owned this system since it was new and have taken very good care of it. I had my own surveying practice and am no longer in business for myself. The Hiper Lite system does not have GNSS. But I have used it side by side with the Trimble R8, Topcon GR-3, and Hiper II systems and it performs as good or better than all of those. The set-up is simple and convenient and gives you a 1.5 mile range with extremely fast fix times. This is used and over the years I have had Hayes Instrument Company make some repairs as needed. The gaskets, batteries, and one of the radios have been replaced over the last few years. I did fire it up over the weekend and got a fixed solution.
