When you look inside one of these instruments. They look like new. The seals were so good, I never see any moisture. The lubrication looks like new(whether it has been serviced or not) and the machining was so good. There is little if any wear on the metal parts and the EDM's have an excellent record of reliability. I still do a few jobs a year and I always keep one of these excellent Japanese Total Stations around for my own work. The difference between the Topcon GTS-301D and the GTS-301. Is the 301D has horizontal and vertical compensation while the 301 has vertical compensation only. If either the horizontal or vertical limit moves outside the compensation range. The instrument operator is alerted and given the oppurtunity to adjust level. The 301D is one of my favorite total stations for almost all surveying purposes. Here for sale is a good working condition Carl Zeiss slitlamp and electric Topcon table. The slitlamp also includes a Zeiss tonometer attachment. As stated. The slitlamp works fine but I want to describe in as acurate detail any problems that the unit might have. As far as I can tell there are two problems with the unit. As stated the slitlamp works very well. Its oculars and movement is fine. All lenses work as they are supposed to work. The ruby lens is slightly stiff but glides appropriately and correctly. The tonometer head is fine. The most notable issue on the lamp is the black casing that surrounds the controls for the lamp and slit is cracked. The controls work fine and the instrument performs as it is supposed to but the casing is cracked. I have included a close up of the area. This is only the black plastic and has nothing to do ... morewith the functioning of the lamp itself which is completely fine. Next, the table is a $1500 Topcon heavy duty table. It is heavy which has to be reflected in the shipping costs. The table functions perfectly but will need replacement belts. There are two that are easily replaced. They are small and have the appearance of vacuum cleaner belts. Other than those two issues this combination is excellent. The tonometer head is included which is a $700 item if added separately. I will ship this item within the lower 48 states. Shipping will be $289. It will be separated into two pieces for shipping purposes and will ship as freight.
