Plumb, level and plumb(cross hair) and free hand crosshair to layout slopes. it is fairly accurate for small projects or around the house- 1/4" at 30' and has an approx. range of 32' but can easily go almost 100' in a darkened room or at night(I layed out a 50ft retaining wall at night) This is small enough to carry in a toolbelt and has a threaded hole for pole or tripod mounting. Flashes when out of level. Uses 3 AA batteries and comes as shown with the rubber protective cover and nylon pouch plus the box and instructions. These sell new for about $100. Found this on the side of the road. Threw the case away. The laser itself turns on and make a"running" noise, and the lights by the power button turn on as well. When I first found it the laser turned on too, however, now the laser doesn't light up. The laser never did spin. The remote doesn't do anything. I put fresh batteries in it and pushed buttons and nothing happened. The glass around the laser head is cracked as seen in photos. Selling for parts only!
