Up for sale is a vintage B.F. McDonald aluminum safety helmet. The helmet has the liner does need some repair. The helmet does have a decal on it and the other one is peeled off and can be seen in picture. There are some scratches on it and some dings in it. Winston Black Velvet Horseback Riding Safety Hard Helmet: 22.5" Circumference
This Winston horseback riding safety hard helmet is a solid black velvet with a black satin lining and grosgrain ribbon in the back. It has an elastic chin strap. Raised dome shamed topper/button, and a diamond shaped cushioning pad at the top inside of the helmet. Note: there is a kink the ribbon that causes the one of the ribbon ends to fall.perhaps steaming or a dot of fabric glue would fix this. Also, on the brim there is an area where the velvet is pressed down, but it is barely visible. Otherwise, there are no marks on the velvet or unforgiving flaws in the hat.

This is a Vintage Aluminum Safety Helmet. It's made by the welgard safety products division of Providence RI. The tag is still on the inside of the helmet. There is a break in the head band on the inside and it looks like a small piece is missing. The helmet has some scuff marks and a couple of small dents. It's not deformed in any other way. Offered is a very cool. Antique hard hat. Also called skull hat. I cannot find another one like it. It was in a old house being torn down. The company is Pulmosan from Brooklyn NY. They make all industrial supplies. The graphics are still on the front outside of the hat. The hat has surface scratches. On top is stamped USA. Inside is a type of cloth that is dry and stiff. The front of this helmet, which is equipped with a clean and undamaged suspension, is adorned with a badge marked"Factory" The badge has darkened with age, but the company's name and address are clearly marked around the outside edge. The underside of the front brim is marked"McDonald T" and beneath that Hat-Standard + and Mine Safety Appliances Co. The helmet is 12" front-to-back. 11" wide and about 7" high. For sale is a beautiful old metal flake motorcycle helmet. Not sure of the maker. But it's marked on the back LSI-4170 made in USA. Not sure of the size, although I have a size 7 1/8 hat, and the helmet fits me pretty well. Has some very minor wear from use, but overall it's in great shape.
