Up for auction is this Japanese post-1940 roofing tile. The roofing tile is called Onigawara. This is God. His name is Daikoku-Sama. He is riding on the straw rice bag. A big white bag, and a lucky hammer. There is much money in that bag. Much money collected when this lucky hammer is shaken. Good fortune will come to you. This roofing tile was stored in a warehouse for sometime. I purchased this tile from Osaka, Japan in 2005. It looks a little damage to the left corner but otherwise in great shape. It measures 16 inches wide, 11 1/2 high, and 4 inches deep. Great collectors piece.

Hello. Up for auction is a vintage roofing hatchet or axe. Overall good condition. Still has plenty of life left in it. I cannot make out the manufacturers name, but the rest of the label has"Drop forged tool from highest quality carbon steel carefully hardened and tempered" The handle is snug and tight and there is a nail pulling notch on the underside of the axe head. Measures approx. 13 1/4" total, head is about 5 1/8" long, blade is about 3 1/4" The tang is of an I-beam construction. The tiles are stacked outdoors and are in good condition. These tiles may be salvaged. They were on my property when I bought it. I think pieces of the tile were used to lay the floor in my mud room(see last photo) The tiles have been salvaged from another roof so some of them have been cut.
