Trimble 5605 DR Robotic Surveying Total Station for Parts or Repair This total station is not working correctly and will either need a repair or need to be used for parts. It was taken in originally to be used as a parts gun since 5600 spares are becoming harder to come by. We were able to find new parts for the other gun. So this one was not needed. When powered on, it does not seem to load software or boot up. It does power on, but doesn't do anything. The telescope spins smooth and there is no major damage to the body. There are a couple nicks in the plastic side covers, but nothing major. No tribrach is included. Optics look fine as well. You can see that the side knobs are missing, but those can be acquired through a Trimble dealer still. Nothing else has been tested on the instrument. This system consist of a 3" sec reflectorless Trimble S6 gun for all your line of sight work and a Trimble R8 model 3 GNSS system for all your work where you are faced with obstructions(moutains. Building, canopy etc) They both work off a TSC3 with Access software(roads ... moremodule activated) and 2.4ghz radio. Now you can switch off between your robot and GPS at the touch of a button. The robot is Reflectoress, has Autolock and the laser pointer. Included is a MT-1000 multiprism which is one of the best tracking systems on the market. The base and rover both 450-470mhz frequency internal radio's with UHF Transmit(TX) option enabled in both receivers. So either one can function as a base station or a rover without a need for an external radio.
