This auction is for a vintage Fenton custard satin lamp with a hand painted scene on the shade and font. It is marked on the inner rim of the shade as seen in the pictures. This lamp stands 21 1/2" high to the top of the chimney. It stands about 20" high to the top of the ruffled rim on the shade. The bottom base rim of the shade measures 9 3/4" across the middle. The lamp is in working condition and the cord looks just fine. There are no chips, cracks or repairs. The hand painted pattern looks ... morevery good and is not worn or faded. Signed Log Cabin NC Pottery Cabinet Vase Jonah Owen 1920's
Here's a rare little signed Log Cabin NC Pottery vase. Vase was almost certainly turned by Jonah Owen at the shop near Greensboro. Circa 1925, and sent to Auman pottery for color and final firing. The glaze is a thin lead blue, so it does have sever flakes to the lower body and some very minor flakes and skips about the rim. No chips or cracks, and nobody has messed with it trying to fix anything. Vase stands 3.25" tall by 3.75" in diameter. Vase ships USPS Priority OR Parcel Select Insured, your choice. This is a hard to find piece for any collector of LG Wright. This crystal clear glass oval plate was manufactured in 1971 to commemorate L.G. Wright. It has a diamond point edging in crystal clear and the center oval features a raised log cabin design in a frosted glass. Surrounding the cabin design are the words"Early American" on the top and below is the name"L.G. Wright" On each side of the cabin design is"19" and"71" and raised stars. The cabin was one that stood on the Wright property and was used for many years on the stickers present on some Wright glass. The plate measures 9" long and 7" wide. No chips or cracks.
