This huge hornet's nest was built in a tree in Kentucky It measures 20" long and 34" around. This nest was Built Around a Maple Limb and Leaves protruding from it. The limbs may have to be trimmed back before shipping. We waited until the temps were below freezing several nights before harvesting the nest and have not seen any hornets on it since cutting it from the tree however, I don't know if there is any hornet larva inside or not. The nest is in its complete natural state, untreated, and never displayed,I listed it as"used" because"new" just didn't sound right because it had been used by the hornets. I will take extra care to package and ship the nest but it is fragile and will be insured

1886 The Rochester Brass Oil Lamp Frosted Acid Etched Lamp Shade/Globe Cabin/Cow Fantastic antique brass oil lamp. Marked"The Rochester" patent September 14th. 1886. This is marked on the burner and oil font. Comes with a great old lamp shade. It is frosted with an acid etched country scene of a cabin and cows grazing the fields. The lamp has been electrified. I photographed it with an amber colored bulb in it. Just the lamp base with burner measures 8" tall. Measures a total of 17.25" tall to the top of the chimney. The lamp shade measures 7.5" tall, has a circumference of 24.5" and a top opening diameter of 3.25" Because the lamp has been electrified, I'm not sure it can be covered back to oil. Condition: Overall good considering the age. The shade is a bit dirty and needs to be cleaned. It's got ... moresome scuff marks here and there. NO chips. Two Vintage Four Point Blue Stripe Two Tone Wool Trade Camp Cabin Blankets, Probably Pre 1940 Larger size approximately: 93.5 x 80 inches Smaller: 89 x 72 inches Pretty much a matching set. Except they are slightly different sizes and the larger one is a slightly richer blue, similar to Hudson Bay or other same era manufacturers light wear. Wool& binding in good shape, could use a good cleaning, some light brown/yellowish stains on each blanket-looks like these should clean up easily, the smaller blanket color seems somewhat faded, the larger blanket is a richer blue color Great for cabin/camp use. Estate find, no reserve!

It really only covers the very top of this bed and is a smallish size of 51" wide by 74" long- suitable for use as an extra blanket at the foot of a bed. This is a wonderful used vintage Mariposa Wool Blanket Made in the USA This blanket is labeled: All Wool Mariposa Blanket Made by Shuler& Benninshofer Hamilton. Ohio This all wool blanket is a fire-engine red color(sorry if the photo may have an orange"tint" with two broad black strips on each end. The blanket measures 85" X 77" There are no holes in the main body of this blanket. The black thread edging around the outside seams is not complete- missing in some areas of the blanket edge. Vintage HUDSON'S BAY(?) Cabin Trapper Thick Heavy WOOL BLANKET 4-Point 89" x 73"
The blanket has no label. But because of the weight and quality of the wool we think it is either a Hudson's Bay or an Early's blanket, both of them made in England, of course. But as we can not say that with 100% certainty, we are listing the blanket as"country of manufacturing unknown" The blanket measures nowadays 89" by 73" the 73" width was taken at any of the two edges. Either at the head of the bed or at the feet, but the measurements across the blanket or width across the middle is less than 73" it is in fact 69" so there is a 4-inch deficit at the middle and that makes the blanket not to be a perfect rectangle but rather to have a"waist" and that creates the slight"waves" you see on the side edges. Not a big deal, we believe, in such an old, quality blanket, but you must ... morebe of course informed. The other problems are minor. Including a very, very faint stain on the center, of which we made a pic but it is impossible to see on the photo, so just take a look at the pic and trust us that there is a faint, yellowish stain there, some 6" in diameter, but with an irregular shape. There are smaller. Brownish spots on areas of the blanket, and they are also very difficult to see. We made a close-up of one of those spots. The stitching of the edges is in perfect condition. Vintage LOG CABIN DIAMOND QUILT~Hand-Pieced & Hand-Quilted 82" X 86"
HANDMADE LOG CABIN DIAMOND QUILT Here we have a beautiful patchwork vintage quilt. All hand-pieced and hand quilted with stitches from about 6-7 per inch. It's in good, clean condition. It's made of all cotton material with thin cotton batting. The backing is all white and folded around and stitched to form the binding on the edges. There is no fading and it has no holes. The back has a few brown/rust as pictured in the photos at the end. I have washed it on gentle cycle and line-dried it. But the stains remained. There is some wear on the edge binding and one small area next to the binding. All these issues are pictured in the last four photos. The main color is white with the log cabin pieces in bright pink and turquoise with a small amount of yellow. The size is about 82" x 86" QUESTIONS ARE WELCOME. Thanks for shopping ... morehere!

I am offering for sale a very nice Patchwork Quilt. Done in assorted colors all cut out pieces of material in multi colors and prints mainly green and burgundy prints. The pattern features a log cabin patchwork with appliqued blocks of assorted, flowers 7 differen colors. With a burgundy and green border on all 4 sides. All hand quilted. nice soft padding with white bottom, The top has little rings sewed on for a wall hanging if wanted, as you may use as a quilt, lightly used. HANDMADE VINTAGE LOG CABIN TRIP AROUND THE WORLD QUILT, PEACH & BROWN, 98" x 92"
Being offered is this very nice vintage handmade Log Cabin Trip Around the World quilt. It measures approximately 98" x 92" and just fits a king bed with a dust ruffle(which was how I used it) or it can be used as a longer quilt on a queen or full bed. It was photographed on a queen. Purchased approximately 30 years ago on a driving trip I took with my father from California to Missouri(his home state) He bought it for me from a quilter we came across in rural Oklahoma. This handsome quilt is made from various floral print fabrics in peach. Coral, beige and brown along with solids in soft peach and medium brown. It is entirely hand quilted on the diagonals by a skilled artisan at a neat and even 8 spi counting one side only. The binding, made from one of the brown floral prints was machine stitched onto the front then turned and ... morehand stitched down in back. The back of the quilt is a solid peach fabric and there is a light batting between the two layers. A lovely quilt for autumn use yet with a lightness that makes it also suitable for year round enjoyment. Hand Made Log Cabin Barn Raising ~Vintage Quilt 80x84 ~63 Blocks ~pretty blues
Offering in this auction is a vintage 1960's all hand sewn large quilt. It is done in the blues and turquoise with little pinks and has a solid blue backing. THE QUILT IS ALL DONE IN NICE WEIGHT COTTON'S It is a nice winter weight. I am told the pattern is: LOG CABIN" OR"BARN RAISING" I have freshly washed and dried this quilt so it is ready to use. The only flaws I see is 2 little spots on the back side that I have shown in the photograph. AND PLEASE BELIEVE ME THE SPOTS DON'T SHOW AS MUCH EYE TO EYE AS THEY LOOK IN THE PHOTO'S( had I seen them before laundering I think they might have come out) The size is approx 80 x 94. Tapestry Made in Italy, Hunting Dogs, Cabin, Stream - Cool Man Cave Artwork
There are three dogs. Seemingly hunting dogs: one is black, one is white and the other is tan. They are by a stream in front of a cabin. It may very well be vintage. But I can't say for sure. My husband bought this to use in a holiday art project and then never did. We're moving and need to downsize stuff. Tapestry has tag that says"made in Italy" on the back. In overall good condition. Colors are still vibrant. It is 19.25 inches wide and 37.75 inches long. It would be darling as a wall hanging. The four corners have been folded under a bit on each side[please see photo] And must have been like that for many years. Threads for the most part. Especially in the dog/cabin/stream scene, are in good shape. There is fraying around the four corners of the piece and around some of the edging. Again, all four corners are creased, ... morelike they may have been framed in the past. A nice frame should hide fraying since it's on the edges of the piece. Sold as is.
