This also has a homemade wire lead arm that was with it which isn’t original to the vise but I am including it as it is still useful. This vise is heavy and sturdy; the base is weighted and has a cork covered bottom. Condition of the vise is used. Very good. There is some very light rust showing on the knurled areas of the vise, and some small spots on the closing tab. A few faint scratches in places. The hinges are all good. The 2 drawer slides are good. All 4 door catches are good and made of all metal(this is an oldie) It is about 69 inches tall. 30 inches wide, and 20 inches deep The countertop is porcelain over metal and the rest is painted metal. There are some small ding dents but nothing too serious. There is some paint loss(see photos) I do not see any other damages. Breaks, alterations, or repairs. I know nothing of this? I do know it is not new! Just how old is anyone's guess. The base is a light gauge metal with an animal skin tightly stretched across the opening forming a very cool and primitive drum. That sounds great! Rawhide dresses the sides for a design and holds the top skin in place. Hammered pins hold the metal sides together. I fantastic condition, no damage to the top skin or side walls. AMAZING Art Glass Antique Lamp Shade Metal Base Irridescent Quezal? Loetz? LOOK!
Beautiful! Purchased this lamp along with other antiques from an estate of A Naval Rear Admiral originally from the Coronado California area. He had many wonderful items! I cannot find a signature on the lamp shade. Although I may be missing something. Also, there is no felt or bottom covering on the base. The socket is signed, but this is for the hardware manufacturer. Several antique dealers have looked at shade but no definitive answer. Except it is truly beautiful! Multi shades of color accented with a stunning irridescence. The underside of shade has the colors in their more solid form. And on the outside is this wonderful and captivating coloring. Amazing. The rim of shade has no chips, just slight roughness. Shade is excellent. The metal base does has some discolor here& there. The lamp works and cord is fine. If it is a replacement, ... moreit was done many years ago. NOTE The four spokes supporting the base for the shade may be able to be tightened. This part moves slightly if shade is touched. But I have no problem using this lamp at all. Remember. Though, that there is some play in this part. From base bottom to top of socket. RARE Antique World Globe with Clock Base Steam Punk Look 10" metal base WOW!!
I have looked all over the internet and in my travels and I have never seen another one of these antique world globes on a clock base. All is metal except for the globe itself. It would appear that the dial with the numbers on it rotate around the bottom part of the base that has major world cities listed maybe as international date lines? I am not sure. The clock is not working. But I am sure it could be fixed and the metal base shows sign of rust. I was going to get this fixed and painted, but time has run out. Now the new owner can decide what to do with it. The globe size is a Replogle 10" standard. With base and all it stands approx 16" tall and weighs almost 4 pounds. A glass of wine and thou? From an estate we find this elegant and interesting porcelain goblet with a burgundy underglaze on the outside over which there is fine gold decor. Description: This auction is for a small metal art nouveau style statue on a base. Of a lady, draped in robe, semi-nude, appears to be dancing. I do not know what kind of base this is. Could be marble or even ceramic. I do not know what kind of metal this is either. But a magnet does want to stick to it. The statue measures approximately 9 1/2 inches tall including the base. The base is approximately 3 3/4 inches wide. The statue is heavy& it weighs approximately 1 lb 11oz. The statue is in good condition; no cracks or repairs. The base has some white marks around the sides of it. there was apparently a sticker or label at one time on it as well, as you can see the outline. The bottom has a piece of rubber covering it. Beautiful art nouveau pewter or base metal vase with gold overtone paint. Fantastic ornate scroll handles with a winged cherub on one side. Flowers decorate the bottom of the base. Vase stands 8.5" tall x 8" wide from handle to handle. The mouth of the vase measures 3.5" wide. Green felt covers the bottom of the vase. Condition is overall good.
