This is a Carl Zeiss Jena lens for the Minolta MD 35mm SLR cameras. It is a 35-135 F3.5 to F4.5 zoom lens. This lens is clean and the glass shows no signs of fungus. The zoom is a little stiff between 35mm and 70mm and the action smooths out from 70 to 135mm. This lens also has a macro function at the 35mm end of the range. There are a couple of places where the steel is slightly tarnished and slide holders are a little bent from years of use. There is also some very minor corrosion on them as well. The piece comes with several accessories such as two sets of eye pieces, the original tool to loosen the scope, to swivel on its base and the original bottle of oil to lube it's parts.All this and more is wrapped up in a timeless handcrafted wood box with lock and key. Leather, Good Condition, both eye cup pieces show some damage to the rims( see pictures) they focus O.K. lenses O.K. just slightly cloudy( Not Bad) There is more writting on the right side top area of the binoculars but it's hard to read, it also shows a rub area.
