Eye cups are in a good condition to with no damage but on looking through they are out of line so will need lining back up again once that as been done you will have a great pair of binoculars Magnification is 6x30 so would be ideal for bird watching So please bear in mind they need lining up and if you would like them to look newer then they will need a paint due to them being used over the years and shows signs of paint loss! Offered here is a nice vintage set of Carl Zeiss Jena Deltrintem 8x30 binoculars with block leather case and straps. The serial number indicates 1931 as the year of production. The binoculars are in good working order with smooth. Slightly stiff mechanical function. Optically they are clean with just a few dust particles visible. They produce a bright clear crisp image and colimation is fine. Case and straps are in good sound condition as per photos but the case has lost it's lid fastener. Cause its 15 times magnifaying, and if you move, you cant focus on some object or view. just need stay staddy, and you can see better than any binocular you have. this telescope build from 4 parts. For sale: Carl Zeiss Jena Flektogon 20mm f4.0 in M42 screw mount. Zebra style finish. Includes front press on cap. Rear Canon EF style cap, lens case. This lens is in very good condition. The glass is pristine with no blemishes or cleaning marks. The lens was recently serviced with a full CLA, focus and iris are nominal. There are a few fine scratches in silver areas of the zebra grip, I have taken photos that represent the general condition of the lens. The camera shows its age a little: the leatherette covering is peeling at a few corners and the light meter plastic window on the top of the camera has faded and chipped a little at the edges over time. However the more durable metal parts of the camera are in fine order: there are few signs of use and no damage. The camera is functioning well. The shutter fires nicely at all speeds down to one second. The aperture blades move and stop down freely. The selenium light meter works wight he needle responding quickly to light changes. The view through the SLR finder is very clean and clear: the split micro prism focusing is sharp(there are a few specks of dust visible inside but no haze, fungus or seperation ... moreThe camera has a nice bright viewfinder) The legendary Zeiss Tessar 50mm lens is very good- no scratches just faint fogging at the front(could be cleaned) The rear elements look crystal clear. This is an unusual camera and would look great in any display- it also is ready to shoot film- in good working order. I am regrettably selling off part of my personal collection of cameras and related photographic items. I have collected these items myself over the last 20 years or more. Here is a very nice vintage Carl Zeiss Jena Tele Tessar f6.3 18cm lens for Contax rangefinder cameras. The focus turns smoothly. The diaphragm works fine. There are 16 diaphragm blades. The glass shows a little wear and I can see internal haze when I shine a flashlight in the lens. Comes with a non zeiss screw on front lenscap. Unusual Prewar Contax 135mm f4.0 Sonnar Lense by Carl Zeiss Jena
I had this lens for a long time and never used it. It has been in my humidity-controlled cabinet for over 10 years. And it was cleaned by my usual camera repairman a few years back thinking that I will use it on my Contax IIIa. Guess what, never got around to do it, except ran a roll of film and the pictures came out pretty good. The condition is as good as an very old lens can get. Clean and no obvious defect. This is a nice and rare estate find! This is a World War 2 era pair of Carl Zeiss Jena Delactem 8x40 binoculars. Once belonging to Brig. General Clare H. Armstrong. The name is engraved on the binoculars and the casing. This General participated as a commander during WW 2 in Europe and if you Google his name, you will find many articles written on him. The binoculars have the serial number of 1785272. The optics appear to be in good order and the image they produce is crisp and clear Each front eyepiece has its own changeable focus. For the age of these binoculars. They are in very good shape. The casing is also in very good shape. For those of you who collect WW 2 historical items, these binoculars should be in your collection because of the significance of being owned by a respected United States General during the war.

Antique Carl Zeiss Jena Marineglas field binoculars from World War I Come in leather case. The writing on the binoculars has worn off in places. But the name Carl Zeiss is clearly detectable on the left eyepiece. On the right eyepiece. The writing is more worn but many of the letters of"Marineglas" can be seen under a strong light, as can some of the serial number and"6X" below. Looking at other pictures of Jena Marineglas binoculars. This is clearly the model. There has been some wear to the binoculars and there is a small crack on the eyepiece cover. As can be seen by the photos. However. Despite some light dusting inside the lens, the binoculars still function as they should. The eyepiece focusers both move as they should and the eyepiece covers unscrew properly.
