This is a vintage antique WWII piece of trench art. A leather belt strap with French coins and a dangling shades of amber stone and a small bullet. The chain is attached to a gold ring that was shaped to hold the chain. The stone has been removed and the chain with hook goes through that hole. The first of the attached coins has come loose at the top- there is a hook at the end of it. Normal wear to the belt strap. Metal has darkened a lot. Vintage Radio- RCA AVT-15 Aicraft Receiver The RCA AVT/AVR series of radios were introduced in the mid-30s for use in light civilian aircraft. Many models of the line were pressed into service early in the war and officially adopted later. Most served in either light spotter aircraft. Such as the Stinson L-5, Tailorcraft L-2, and Piper Cup, or as"ferry" radios. They were all very small, light weight, extremely simple in design, easily produced, and very effective. AVR-15(uncommon) This radio looks just like the more commonly seen HF model AVR-20. Except that it's a"radio range" receiver tuning 200-400 KC. It has a fixed-tune position for 278 KC, which was the most common"tower to aircraft" frequency in the 30s-40s.Documented military use TO 08-45-17 dated July 1944. Condition: See pictures. This lot includes the 2 Czech bayonets in the photo. They are 2 different variations. The first is a two rivet type with short rounded guard. It has a half tang and unusual wood handle. The other is a two rivet type with long guard. It has a full tang and the standard composition handle. The full tang version is in good shape and appear to be unused with only minor wear from storage and handling. The wood handle version is used and has wear. No Reserve, Free Shipping This is very collectible Japanese World War II naval ensign flag recovered from the Imperial Japanese battleship. Nagato following the surrender to the United States on August 30, 1945. The battleship Nagato was the lead ship of her class with unmatched speed and armor capabilities. Serving as the flagship of Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto's fleet during the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1942 the Nagato also participated in a number of naval actions throughout the ensuing years of war. Attacked and seriously damaged from U.S. bombing raids, the Nagato managed to survive to 1945 and ironically serve as the last official surrender site of the Imperial Japanese Navy. At this time, the Nagato was one of the only ... moremajor Imperial Japanese naval ships afloat. All Imperial flags were surrendered and secured by the crew of the USS Horace A. Bass. The fate of the Nagato was grim, as the U.S. Navy did not want this once flagship vessel to represent a rallying point or shrine for the Japanese. The United States Navy towed the limping Nagato to Bikini Atoll and sunk it during a series of nuclear weapons testing known as"Operation Crossroads" This Japanese rising sun naval flag is one of the flags surrendered to the crew from the U.S.S.
