This is a Supertek Microscope 400x that came with a LABPAQ kit I had to order for a Biology class I took in high school. There is no model number listed or manual that came with it. The box states that the Eye-Piece is a Huygenian x10. And that the objective ranges from 4x to 10x to 40 x(SL) The microscope works great and is in very good condition; I only used if for that class and never touched it again. Some of the supplies were one-time-use and so I threw them away. But the microscopes itself as well as its immediate accessories are all intact. I don’t know much else about this item. NO RETURNS. You are bidding on a Vintage Microscope. I know little to nothing about microscopes but I googled the markings and I will attempt to describe this to the best of my abilities. I got this from an Old Estate Sale. This was a quality sale of well kept items. I believe this microscope to be vintage but I have no idea how old it actually is. I do not know if all of the parts and pieces on this are original to this microscope or not. I also do not know if there are pieces missing from this microscope. This Microscope measures approx. 10 1/4" tall when in its lowest position. The bottom base lens is rounded. The round opening this lens sits in measures approx. 2 5/16" across. This round opening has an approx. 1/8" metal band sleeve around it. This metal band sleeve has 4 approx. 1/16" round holes and these holes appear to be ... morethreaded. This rounded lens can be raised and lowered by moving the lever on the side(under the stage part the slide would lay on) This lever reads Schwach- Vergr- Stark. When the lever is on the Stark end the rounded lens is all the way down and it raises as you slide the lever towards Schwach. The piece which I believe is called the Slide Holder is engraved Ernst Leitz Wetzlar Germany. This has two knobs. One knob moves the slide holder side to side and the other knob moves it in and out. These move with precisioned ease when turning in either direction. there are three lenses on this. Two are chrome looking and one is black. These are threaded into a disc which allows you to move them around. Each will stop when you get to the shaft eyepiece. The black lens is unmarked. One lens is marked Leitz Wetzlar Germany 170/0.17 C 25/0.50. One lens is marked Leitz Wetzlar Germany 170/ C 10/0.25. There is a threaded knob on a shaft that. Up for aution is a Phase Contrast Zeiss Microscope Objective 100x/1.25 Oel in Excellent condition. A complete examination of the optical system does not reveal any defects or delamination. The phase ring is sharp with excellent contrast and no deterioration. The tip has a spring loaded safety mechanism that by pressing down and turning clockwise locks the tip in a retracted position which happens to be how the objective was photographed. By turning the tip in a counter clockwise direction the spring loaded pops out to its maximum extension. A very nice Zeiss Objective identified by Zeiss 46 19 01-9904. No reserve!

Up for auction here is a 100x oil immersion objective produced by Siebert in Wetzlar. Germany. The objective is marked"100x Oel-Immersion Otto Seibert, derJüngere Wetzlar" The finish on the objective appears very nice yet would benefit from a polishing if the objective is to be put upon a microscope for display. I have not tested the optics as I am not proficient with the use of oil immersion objectives and wouldn't want to risk damage. Held to a strong light their does not appear to be any major defects in the lenses and the sale will be considered"as is" although I expect it will function well. The is a Seibert objective. Not a Leitz.
