This is a pre-war Ernst Leitz Wetzlar MILAR 30mm f 4.5 microscope objective lens with iris ring. Made in Germany, as shown in the photos. Diameters about 20mm and 19mm at two ends, 26mm ouer diameter, length 13.5mm, lens weight 26g. This is a photomacrographic lens(Lupenobjektiv) that gives excellent two-dimensional depiction of flat surfaces, usually used without an ocular. RMS standard screw mount. All items I sell are being sold 100% as-is. As-pictured& as-described to the best of my ability with NO RETURNS. I am not anything close to being a scientist so it is completely out of my league to give a really good description. In my novice opinion only all of the lens are in acceptable condition. They may need to be cleaned. We did shine a flash light on the mirror with a dirty cue tip over the hole and were able to see an image. Other than this the item is untested. Basically I wouldn't know how to thoroughly test this item. Both of the eye pieces that you look in slide out and are removable. Please look over all the pictures carefully and make sure this is a good item for you because I will NOT accept a return. For sale is a Leitz Oil 100x A 1.30 170/0.17 Microscope Objective A 297473. It is in very good condition with a few small scratches on the outside. The lens is clear without scratches, dust or fungus. This objective is usable with Leitz. Olympus, Nikon, Zeiss and other scope brands with either 170mm or 160mm tube length. The lens can also be removed from its extension and used on other compound microscopes(like my A O) However. Par focusing with other lenses was difficult on the A O.

you are bidding on a Vintage microscope by E. Leitz Wetzlar good condition. Made in germany in the 1920s. No. 273167, w/ metal horse shoe style base. It comes with 6x&10x eyepieces and it is equipped with 10x-45x-100x magnifying lenses. It includes 4 metal conainers- 1/12 oel immersion, a#3 container, a#6L container and cedern-oel container. The cedern container is seized close and feels heavy, There may be a objective inside. It looks as if someone has used pliers or something to try to force open as container has some gauge marks on outside. I can not open with hands, I’m not sure if it can be opened again. There are two boxes full of glass slides, cleaning cloth and an empty eye dropper. It all comes inside original wooden box that is pretty beat up but still intact. The old key and lock still function. The box has a storage compartment ... morew/ lid and two racks to hold eyepieces and containers. Inside on door is original microscope documentation and pamphlets. It is missing a clip that holds slide in place. There is some corrosion on the shinny brass in several parts, this is surface damage that affects color of brass. All the metal is solid, lenses move freely and focus mechanisms work correctly. These have been used and have some scuffs and scratches but no major damage. They would be nice for lab use, collector or good for decoration in your den or lab. Very good condition with some minor chips to the paint on the leg of the base(see photo) Features three Leitz power objectives: 45X. 10X and an Oel Immersion 1.16.15 aperture 1,32 objective. The two Leitz eyepieces are 10X and 6X respectively. All of the optics are clean and clear. Coarse and fine adjustment knobs function smoothly. Unique revolving multiple adjustment stage. Or you may pick up. Cannot seem to find the date although I thought it was on there. I believe this is around 1880. It was polished when I bought it and polishes up to be a beautiful piece. One like this. Polished brought over $2000 at an auction. Sorry, no box but the beautiful boxes dont seem to bring anything on ebay without the microscope.
