This is an original Carl Zeiss Jena Zielvier 4X(ZF39) meant for the German Mauser K98 rifle. Serial# 61578: I don't know the manufacture date. But it was brought to the US at the close of WW2. Scope is 10 1/2 inches long. The original carrying case and lens caps are included. The case is missing the shoulder strap. And a short strap that keeps the two pieces together. The photo image through the scope shown here looks fuzzy. But the actual image to the eye is crystal clear! I WILL NOT SHIP outside the US or Canada.

I am selling a very sort after quality Antique CARL ZEISS. ZENA 9073 mahogany cased brass Microscope.The condition for it's age seems very good, but has minor wear on the brass in various places. It does work, but the bottom mirror is missing! In the case there is 3 more items, one being a lense and the other 2 screw lidded brass capsules which are worn with lots of scratches and tarnishes and the one has a big dent in it(see pictures) The case seems in good solid condition, but has minor faults i.e chunk of mahogany missing where the pieces sit in and also a slight crack on the top where the pieces sit in. The outside of the case has also got a crack along the top from the one side to the other with a small chunk of wood missing on the right hand side. There is a lock there but no key. Up for auction is this Vintage Carl Zeiss Jena 10x Volkswagen Loupe Magnifier from 1938. This is an incredible loupe that is extremely hard to find. And even harder to find in such incredible condition! The exterior of the loupe is incredibly clean for something of this age. This loupe was made for volkswagen for use on the cars they produced. The loupe has the VW logo on one side of the loupe and some writing in german. The loupe also has the original tag that came with the loupe stating the serial No. and date(1938) The loupe also comes with a black piece of plastic or bakelite(not sure of which it is) that says Carl Zeiss and some german on the backside.
