The stand is in overall good condition. It could use some cleaning, but I do not have time for it. The vertical focus stages are included and in excellent cosmetic and mechanical shape. No filter bank in it(please see the pictures) The power cable needs to be replaced right away(please see the picture) I will ship it in its original wooden crate. Carl Zeiss Jena 50mm 2.8 Tessar converted to a Pentax K mount! Red T version. Which have the best coatings, with very clear glass. No scratches, haze, fungus or other abnormalities. Some very light cleaning marks and a few specks of dust typical of a lens this age, but nothing that will affect image quality. The mount will allow for infinity focus, but where this lens shines is closeup photos that expose that awesome Tessar bokeh. It has an artistic quality that cannot easily be described, almost like an oil painting.This is a very small lens and it does not cover the electrical contacts on my K-5, so I made a cheesy little ring out of neoprene to cover them and eliminate any light leakage. It works great, but looks a little funny. I'll include it but you may wish to fashion something nicer if it is an issue on your camera. It is in nice used physical condition. Powers on, lights function, the motorized revolving nosepiece that holds the objectives functions properly, however the switch feels a bit loose. One of the eyepieces won't turn to focus, we are not sure if it is stuck or not. Both of the light sources that connect to the back of the microscope work properly, as well as the power supplies. The Schott light source also functions properly. The camera powers on however we are unable to test any further as we do not have the interface card that connects to the computer.
