It has original eyepieces 10X B&L and on their now is another set which says W10X-24MM There are 4 lenses on bottom. One is 97x, 43x, 10X and 3.2X. Comes with a really well made and nice condition wooden carry case.

Made by the Bausch& Lomb Co. in Rochester NY. These are the original government issued aviator sunglasses ... morefor the USN and USAAF during WW2, model AN-6531. Born in the mid 1930's these glasses were developed by the air force to accommodate the pilots during the 2nd world war. Since pilots were constantly looking down at their instrument panel while in flight, this necessity gave birth to the teardrop"aviator" shape lens. Bausch and Lomb was one of the few companies to be contracted by the US government to create these glasses. Bausch and Lomb then incorporated the new design to create the Ray Ban line of sunglasses. These glasses are considered the 1st generation of Bausch and Lomb"aviator" sunglasses, thus the birth of the"Ray Ban" line of sunglasses, and the creation of the"aviator" style of glasses we see today. Description of the glasses in the auction. These glasses are the harder to find An-6531-2 model. These glasses are in overall good condition. They would be wonderful for both wearing or display. These are a nice well used set of WW l l Binoculars. The only problem that I see is that the lens covers are missing but do not harm the optics in anyway. These have the most clear optics I have seen. The leather covering has an area that I have photographed that is split but the covering is not separating from the body. They are dated 1943 as seen. Mad in the early part of last century this microscope is built to withstand the most maniacal reanimated corpse, death-ray or any and all other meddling in things MAN WAS NOT MEAN'T TO KNOW! Constructed from cast iron. Brass, copper and other materials this microscope has"LSU" Botany" and the number"39" engraved onto the base. I have not made any attempt to clean it up as I frankly don't know enough about it not to be sure I won't damage it. Vintage Bausch & Lomb Jeweler Loupe 10X ? Magnification
Vintage. Jeweler's loupe. It came from an estate sale. Embossed in the metal on both sides is"BAUSCH& LOMB OPTICAL CO. U.S.A. ROCHESTER, N.Y. There is a small loop at the top for hanging on a chain. The metal looks like nickle and there is a web design on the top and bottom. The glass itself measures about 3/4" diameter. The whole loupe is 1 1/2" by 7/8" and weighs about 1/2 ounce. I don't know what the magnification is but am guessing it's 10X. Condition: Normal general signs of use and age. The glass is clear with no scratches. All questions are welcomed. This is an antique Bausch& Lomb Optical Co. miniature table model magnifier with legs. Approx, 1 3/4" high x 2" wide. The magnifying glass can be adjusted by screwing it up or down. It is marked Bausch& Lomb Optical Co. Roshester N.Y. U.S.A. The Roman numerals XXXlll are etched into the bottom rim.
