Carl Zeiss EPI Condenser with four INKO Objective Set You are bidding on a Carl Zeiss Epi four objective condenser with H-PL insert and five INKO objective sets. Turret rotates with click stops at each objective. All optics in the condenser appears to be good with no delamination. The iris opens and closes as it should and the two centering levers work as they should. The five objectives are: EPIPlan 4X 0.1 Pol. EPIPLAN 16X 0.35 Pol, EPIPLAN 40X 0.85 Pol, EPIPLAN 80X 0.95 Pol and EPIPLAN 100X 1.24 oil. The EPIPLAN objectives are seated in the INKO prisms but are mismatched with the objectives. For instance 16X objective is seated in the 80X INKO prism, the 4X objective is seated in the 100X INKO prism and so on. The only one that matches is the 40X objective is in the proper 40X INKO prism. Someone must have use Loctite to secure the objectives ... moreto the INKO prisms as I was unable to separate them, maybe you can. All the prisms do adjust by turning the knurlled ring on the INKO prisms. Some of the prisms show signs of delamination along some of the edges. They all sit on 46 29 97 adapters. First of all. This lens has fugus inside. It needs professional cleaning. However, everything else are in very good shape. Aperture blades are oil free. Focusing and aperture ring is smooth and the aperture works fine. Moves nicely at every aperture position! The little black spots inside lens are bubbles in the glass elements. This is not a problem. It was a common issue in the old Zeiss lenses. The Praktina mount is a very rare one. You can find Praktina to M42 adapter and Praktina to EOS adapter for this lens nowadays. The camera shows average wear from normal use with a slight tear on the hand grip rubberized surface so I rated it an 8+ condition. The lens is clean with no scratches. Marks, fungus or dirt. The camera powers up but the image on the screen seems to be blurred and hasn't been fully tested so it is being sold as-is. Olympus BH2 microscope to Zeiss stage mount adapter unit
This is constructed from an original BH2 stage condenser mount assembly so I could use the excellent ball bearing Zeiss Pol#66 stage on the Olympus BHS stand. The Olympus pol stage is rare and not ball bearing. And rather cumbersome to maintain due to wear and lack of lubrication issues. The upper portion was cut from a Zeiss Universal stage carrier and was square to my stage mounting. If you take care yours should be the same however I would think if not just very minor shimming might be required. To mount the Zeiss stage the upper portion must be removed, then the stage attached to that, and finally that is then assembled back to the Olympus casting. The housing of this particular finder is in excellent condition exhibiting some normal signs of light use that includes some minor blemishing. Sratching, and brightlining on the more vulnerable of surfaces. The parallax correction lever functions as it should. The bright frame lines are crisp and the viewfinder window is clean. The optical glass exhibits some minor cleaning marks and dust that does not hinder functionality. The leather case has some pen markings on the inside flap but is altogether in excellent condition.
