The unit is in general good cosmetic condition, however when booted up, the display will only show a series of random numbers and digits. The temperature control board(Triac board) is also no longer functioning which will need to be fixed or replaced. The mechanical portion of the machine seems working fine and we were able to successfully conduct all the calibrations required, when control the unit with a computer using the TA Advantage software. This is one of the best service tools I have owned in the HVAC field! It will tell you everything that is wrong with a York and not only York heat pumps. That's what the leads are for to bypass the module plug for other heat pumps. It will check O. D. Air Temp on the compressor. Compressor and heat and electric heat with the flip of a switch! This is on the heat pump Module. And it will initiate and terminate defrost for 12 seconds also on the Module using 1 switch! Unit test section has 3 switches. 1 Compressor control Module= on, off, and Module. 2 Defrost relay= on. Off, and Module. 3 Elect.Heat = on, off, and Module. Thermostat section has 2 green led lights for stage 1& 2 and Red for fault. Electric Heat Section has 2 red led lights for supp. and stand-by.
