This photo is from a collection of over 200 photographs taken by George A. Bayne who served in the United States Navy from 1924-1929 as a fireman second class and in the Army during World War II as a Private Company H 6th Quartermaster Training Regiment. Bayne was honorably discharged from the Navy and Army. This collection of photographs if from the 1928-29 period and covers service in the Philippines. Japan, China and elsewhere.
