Swivel bale. Rear seam helmet with liner, all in excellent condition, minor damage to chinstrap. Soldier made folk art(Yellow) metal airplane, 16 1/2" wingspan, 1ft from nose to tail, with French flag on back fin. Tape on helmet reads USAF, Timothy Moore, either 556T or SSGT) not sure, could be 556th Bombardment Squadron. The 556th Designated colors were YELLOW. I have no way to confirm Timothy Moore was in this group.

The Mold throws one Sinker each of sizes 2, 4. 6 and 8 ounces. I believe number 3 Barrel Swivels are used in the mold but It would be a good Idea to check No. 2s and No. 4s to be sure. This type Sinker in these weights could be very useful in some Fishing situations such as fishing off Dams etc. where fast water, strong currents, and rocky bottoms are being fished. This would be a very difficult Mold to find. CONDITION: The mold has been used but is in very good condition. The Cavities are clean and smooth. Vintage M1 Swivel Bale Helmet With Westinghouse Liner
M1 helmet with liner. Let me first state that I am no authority on the history or grading of these helmets. All I can give is my honest description of what I know. Helmet is swivel bale and front seam, and has been repainted. It looks as though there may be red paint underneath? Rim is rear-seamed, non-stainless, I think. There are various dings along the rim. I can't find a date stamp on the helmet, possibly due to the repaint. The liner is a Westinghouse, but from what research I did, it appears to have been rewebbed at an armory at some point. The label on the webbing is too faded to read, but it doesn't look consistent with other Westinghouse liners I've seen. Any other questions please email me! U.S. Army Captain WW2 M1 Helmet Front Seam Swivel Bale Vietnam Era Liner &Cover
The item in this listing is an awesome AUTHENTIC U.S. ARMY CAPTAIN'S WW2 M1 HELMET SHELL FRONT SEAM SWIVEL BALE WITH VIETNAM ERA LINER& COVER This m1 helmet is an authentic 1941-1943 U.S. WW2 McCord M1 Steel Combat Helmet Shell that was re-issued to a US Army Captain for use in the Vietnam War. It still has the original khaki chin strap with brass buckle that is attached to the swivel bales. Its seam is located on the front rim which is only seen in early(1941-1943) WW2 M1 helmets. This WW2 Helmet Shell was re-painted and refurbished with a Vietnam era liner and cover. This 1965 Vietnam helmet liner has a suspension system consisting of 3 webbing straps that can be adjusted to hold the liner at the right height on the head. This liner also has a neck band assembly consisting of a rectangular webbed body with 3 straps that attach to ... moresmall buckles inside the liner. This liner was the 1st version not to have a leather chin strap. This 1965 Vietnam Era M1 helmet cover has the Mitchell Camouflage Reversible Pattern. It was worn with the brown& tan cloud"winter" pattern side out. This is unusual for Vietnam as most were worn with the green leaf"summer" pattern side out. This cover also has an Army Captain's rank insignia(Vietnam subdued cloth patch) on the front. The helmet band is also from the Vietnam era. My mother acquired this helmet during her 40 years of employment at the U.S. Army Yuma Proving Grounds Hospital/Health Clinic. This military facility was used for training soldiers during the Vietnam war. My mother now has dementia and is unable to tell me any more information about the helmet and who it belonged to. Gold pinchbeck and Amethyst paste brooch, that is from the Victorian era. This piece is bright with a golden patina but does not test positive for gold content. This piece is substantial weighing 41 grams and measuring 2 7/8" wide at its widest point and is just shy of 1/2" thick at its thickest point. The brooch has its original pinback that works securely. This piece is unique for its large size. Its ornate design, and the fact that the center of the brooch swivels. If the pinback is open, the center can turn 360 degrees fluidly, and if it is closed it can just pivot a bit back and forth. The design of the brooch is striking with lots of raised and recessed details that give the piece a lot ... moreof texture and visual interest. The center of the brooch is accented with deep purple paste stones, the largest in the center is 1/2" in length, and they are open at the back and faceted on both sides so there is a lot of depth in color and refraction. There are no chips or surface wear to the paste- they are all very fresh looking with a high sheen. There is one section at the side of the brooch that has a panel that has been replaced, it is not original and it is a bit flatter with a different design than the other panels, but the repair was done well and is noticeable mainly on close inspection. Antique ONE OF A KIND Stroller - Horse and Sulky Wagon with Reins, Swivel Wheel
Horse drawn Sulky with Reins for your little one to hold onto to guide the horse! This is a toddler stroller. To be pushed by an adult. It has two wheels on the Sulky. And one swivel wheel under the horse. Wheels work perfectly. All bridle straps and reins are in leather and in nice condition. I question whether the sulky seat is or is not leather. It could be man-made material. It is in good condition. The belt to hold the child in. Is good, but the leather part with the holes that receives the buckle prong is only 50% there with just 2 or 3 holes. A solution, when you get this, is to take a piece off of another belt you can find to match, and just weave through the holes with a rawhide lace and tie it securely. That will add the extension that should be there. A gold ring on the right side of the bit is missing and strap ripped. The rounded ... morehandle is covered with leather. A 2" area is flat instead of the expected round on the handle. The horse is made of resin. The left front leg has cracked across. But still in place. It needs to be glued and it will be as good as new. Even as is. This stroller is in beautiful presentable condition. Anyone seeing it is in AWE! This"stroller" can be picked up in Pompano Beach. Scarce Original WWII US Navy M1 Helmet & Liner - Front Seam, Swivel Bale
I found this WWII helmet in an antique store in the early 1980s. I have not cleaned or altered it in any way. It is a front seam. Swivel bale steel M1 helmet that started out with an olive drab finish. It appears that it was given several different colored paint jobs during its period of service, the last being battle ship gray. Where the paint has chipped, you can see the OD, orange, light blue, and a slightly darker gray paint finish. It was common for helmets used on WWII Navy warships to be painted various colors. Colors were used to quickly identify the different ship's crews, such as damage control, fire suppression, gun crew, etc. The Firestone marked liner is finished in white, possibly indicating shore patrol or color guard. The steel shell does not have any cracks; just one 1 3/4" x 1 1/4" dent in the right front. ... moreThere are some minor spots of surface rust inside the crown. The OD web straps have some gray and orange paint stains. The long strap has minor wear on the front side, at the bale loop. The Firestone liner has about 90% of the white paint and no cracks or edge chips in the fiberglass. The paint is dirty, but should clean nicely, if desired. There are some minor paint chips along the bottom edge. The Company shield logo is clear, above the number"49. The tie cord is missing from the interior crown. The leather sweatband is present, but is missing part of the web end. The comparatively small number of painted Navy helmets from WWII makes them desirable collectibles today.
