These were manufactured many decades ago. This one likely being an early 1960's unit, right here in the USA. That's important because any big box store you walk into today hoping to purchase a quality grinder for your home shop is going to sell you something imported. Something whose number one priority is to cost the retailer the smallest investment and offer the highest return. These stores are going to sell you something with cheap bearings. The program examinations was based on material that was contained in the shop manual. Serviceman bulletin, service supplement and the round table charts. Any employee of an authorized Cadillac distributor, dealer, or branch could participate in program, and was urged to do so. To qualify for an award it was necessary to maintain an average of 85 percent or better on the combined totals of the examinations that was offered during the year.
