This set of vintage(stamped 1954) heavy rubber lab gloves are simply outrageous and fascinating. They are simultaneously bizarre and so much expected to be covering the hands of your run of the mill mad scientist their presence in the universe seems almost perfunctory. They have a look impossible to recreate. so don't. You have an opportunity to get the real thing and also own a bit of science history. It should be noted there is an approximately 2" crack of dry rot beginning on the inside wrist of the right glove. It isn't yet visible to the eye but can be felt. I'm researching what might be the best way to reinforce(from the inside) and stave off a visible defect. I would imagine that an eventual flaw is inevitable but even a small gasp of crackle can't take away from the sheer cra-mazing presence of these gloves. You are buying/bidding on a pair of used UVEX laser safety glasses. Of which I know nothing about. The only thing I can tell you is that there is a small crack(see pic 3) where the frame goes into the lens, which I repaired by dabbing a little super glue, and now it's back to normal. Also, there is what looks like slight peeling on the top where the words are, but when I looked through the glasses it didn't seem to effect anything and they appear to be working just fine, although I guess the only way to know for sure is to stare into a laser and I won't be trying that out.
