Reichert SC-5 Fiberscope Colonoscope with no broken fibers. Comes in case Tested with video camera. Please note the camera was installed onto the scope by virtue of an endocoupler. Without getting technical beyond reason it is by virtue of the lens. And magnification this coupler provides that makes the image look much different than looking with the naked eye. The second picture clearly shows this effect. This coupler was designed for a very different application. As such the image is rounded and the size of the fibers looks really large. With the naked eye this is not the case. I saw more value in showing no broken fibers than worrying about the pedigree of the setup. With that said this is a very good scope, is able to produce a usable video image with the light source turned way down, set at only 20% I then turned it up, the camera swamped ... morebut I still wanted to see the amount of light this scope is able to pass for large cavity applications.
