RARE Fossil Giant Thresher Shark Tooth 1-1/4 Inches Megalodon era
This is a Giant Thresher Fossil Shark tooth(Alopias Grandis)that I personally found in South Carolina. This extinct shark swam in the Miocene Epoch approximately 15 million years ago in waters inhabited by the Megalodon. Giant Thresher teeth are extremely hard to find. This tooth has some wear to the tip from feeding. But is a good solid specimen. This tooth is 1-1/4 inches long. There is no repair or restoration and it is all natural. Good Luck!

RI(1860-1927) The wide band is decorated with a beautiful deeply embossed leafy garland. There is also a vacant cartouche. On the inside is the sterling mark. The maker's mark and the size, a 9. It is heavier than most. Weighing 5.9 grams and is in excellent condition for it's age with no holes. But a few scratches consistent with use. That would've been pulled behind a horse or a tractor, is featured in this as a new state-of-the-art piece of farm equipment. this booklets and fairly decent overall condition, measuring approximately 7 1/2 inches wide by approximately 10 1/2 inches tall. There is some slight wear to the outer cover, and it appears that one of the front pages of the brochure is missing part of the corner. Other than that, the booklets in decent condition. On a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the best, I would grade this piece at a 7. I cannot find a year on this. But I'm guessing it to be from around 1930. This is form number A5436C. BEAUTIFUL WAITE THRESHER SIZE 6 THIMBLE This sterling silver thimble is in like new condition. It is quite tiny and a size 6. Possibly belonging to a young girl or small woman. There is no wear to the top. The cartouche on the bottom front has never been used so you could have it engraved with your initials or those of the special person that you give it to. The interior top has a star in the middle with the word Sterling surrounding it which is the mark for Waite, Thresher Co. of Providence, Rhode Island. They were silver and gold thimble manufacturers active from 1884 to 1928. Simons Brothers acquired their designs when the firm dissolved. In 1914 Hudson and Thurber issued a new catalog in which they was billed as"Manufacturers and wholesalers of implement and thresher supplies. In 1917 Thurber left the company and the name was changed to Hudson Manufacturing Company. This means this oiler was only made three or four years. Mens Thresher & Glenny vintage silk tie
Thresher& Glenny. Founded in 1755, is one of the world's oldest surviving tailors, shirt makers and outfitters to the legal profession. C urrently holding a oyal Warrant as shirt makers to the Royal Household and the company has original Royal Warrants dating back to eorge III in 1783. This tie isn't quite as old as that. it's probably late 80's. The blade width is 8.5 cm which they are currently using for their Glenny tie. Excellent soft clean condition from a smoke and pet free home.

In the next few weeks. I will be offering up many antique Sterling Silver thimbles for bids here. These came from the estate of a local collector. Some Fantastic pieces will be sold, so please pay close attention. This is another Beautiful one by Waite Thresher Co. Features a pattern that looks like curling waves. Marked Size 9. It measures about 16mm at the rim. This one has initials LR engraved. Other than that, this one is in Excellent, Clean condition. Looks much better in hand, than in the photos. No Holes, Dings, Dents, and is nice and Round. Fantastic addition to any collection.
