Here is a well used pair of Bausch Lomb. 6X30 model M Binoculars, they are not perfect but do look like they were used in a war. They are stamped US Army, Ser. NO. 9318, Bosh Lomb, M8, 6X30. They work, but are little hazy and the sight lines on the inside lens are showing some fading. The external binocular case shows wear, the leather strap is ready to break. Antique Bausch & Lomb Microscope Serial No. 8174 & Fitted Cedar Box w/Key
Antique Brass and Japanned Iron Microscope made by the Bausch and Lomb Optical Company in Rochester. New York, U.S.A. The serial number located on the eyepiece is 8174; on the top black plate which is screwed on says: Pat. Jan. 5, 1915. The Microscope has a 6.4 magnification lens or eyepiece, two knobs for raising or lowering the lens, an adjustable iris, and a double-sided reflector mirror. Note that there is a very small chip on the edge of one side of the reflector mirror and two tiny brown stains on the other side. Also, included are 3 Bausch& Lomb objective lenses: Two lenses are marked patented on Oct 13, 1925: 1) 16mm 0.025 10X” and, 2) 4mm 0.65 43X” the third one is marked“4mm 0.65 N.A. Also included are 10 assorted glass slides of which a few are chipped. The Microscope stands a little over 11 inches high when the lens is in ... moreits fully extended position and it rotates on its base to adjust the viewing angle. The Microscope is clean. Free of rust or corrosion, but does have some of the black paint worn away along the back of the stand. The brass has developed a warm golden patina. Both of the adjustable side-clips that hold the glass slides in place on its stage are attached. The Microscope appears to be in very good working condition. A fine cedar wood fitted box is also included in the sale. It was manufactured by the Eagle Lock Company. Terryville, Connecticut. The lock is stamped thus, including USA. The lock& its working key are in excellent condition. To open the box. Undo the latches, turn the key, and push the small round button to the side. Two Art Nouveau design latches secure the sides. Inside the box are compartments for 5 objective lenses, plus one for the eyepiece, as well as the footprint for the microscope itself. You are looking at a used Bushnell Bausch and Lomb series riflescope with a 3-9x magnification and a 50mm objective lens. Model number 32-3950G. Unit has a Multi-X reticle. A glossy black finish and was manufactured in Japan. As stated. This riflescope is a pre-owned unit. Here is the lowdown: There are some very minor scuffs and scratches to the finish in several places but these are hard to see and quite minor. There is more serious scratching to the windage and elevation caps. There is also a small ding in the rubber around the occular lens(picture 7) All the above physical imperfections aside this scope has been tested and is in 100% working condition. The optics are in amazing shape. The view is great with no obstructions and the reticle jumps out very nice and sharply. Vintage Bausch Lomb Cobalt Blue Sun Shooting Safety Glasses Industrial Steampunk
Up for auction is a pair of vintage Bausch& Lomb glasses. I don't know what they were supposed to be designed for(sunglasses or goggles for shooting. Welding or safety) On the bridge they are marked"Bausch& Lomb, and there is a triangle in a circle at the top of each lens. They are unusual as the top half is cobalt blue and the bottom half is clear. The metal is silver tone(chrome? with minor tarnish. The lenses measure approx. 1.75" vertically and 1-7/8" wide. The total width is 5.25" I only saw one similar pair online and they were dated to the late Victorian or early Art Deco period. I am including a hard metal case that they came in marked AO(American Optical? Please see photos for condition. I see only minor scratching on the lenses. When item is plugged in, the light switches from low to high(noticeable brighter) and all of knobs(which adjust focus, position work. I am not very familiar with the lensometer or know much about it, but from turning it and adjusting the switches and knobs, everything seems to work just fine and be in good order. The lensometer was obtained through an old optometrist office and is in good condition, having been stored for many years. The gear move freely but I would think that the old grease needs to be removed and new grease placed in the moving parts to refine the pin point precision that this tool is used for. Antique Brass and Japanned Iron Compound Microscope made by the Bausch and Lomb Optical Company in Rochester. New York, U.S.A. around 1915. The number 8174 is stamped or engraved on the bottom of the eyepiece tube; on the top black plate which is screwed on says: Pat. Jan. 5, 1915. The Microscope has a 6.4 magnification lens or eyepiece, two knobs for raising or lowering the lens, an adjustable iris, and a double-sided reflector mirror. Note that there is a very small chip on the edge of one side of the reflector mirror and two tiny brown stains on the other side. Also, included are 3 Bausch& Lomb objective lenses: Two lenses are marked patented on Oct 13, 1925: 1) 16mm 0.025 10X” and, 2) 4mm 0.65 43X” the third one is marked“4mm 0.65 N.A. Also included are 10 assorted glass slides of which a few are chipped. The Microscope stands a little ... moreover 11 inches high when the lens is in its fully extended position and it rotates on its base to adjust the viewing angle. The Microscope is clean. Free of rust or corrosion, but does have some of the black paint worn away along the back of the stand. The brass has developed a warm golden patina. Both of the adjustable side-clips that hold the glass slides in place on its stage are attached. The Microscope appears to be in very good working condition. A fine cedar wood fitted box is also included in the sale. It was manufactured by the Eagle Lock Company. Terryville, Connecticut. The lock is stamped thus, including USA. The lock& its working key are in excellent condition. To open the box. Undo the latches, turn the key, and push the small round button to the side. Two Art Nouveau design latches secure the sides. Inside the box are compartments for 5 objective lenses, plus one for the eyepiece, as well as the footprint for the microscope itself. Many of the interior surfaces are lined with brown felt and a blue sponge cushion is on the interior lid to protect the eyepiece. On the right side of the outside of the box is a black iron handle.
