Singer 1885 New Family Hand Crank Sewing Machine with Case Gold Acanthus Scroll
Singer New Family Sewing Machine This is a beautiful hand crank sewing machine made by the Singer Manufacturing Company. It is a model"New Family" The serial number is 6742822 which dates it to 1885. The design is an attractive acanthus leaf in gold with accents of red. It has a very interesting bobbin winder on it. I have seen similar ones referred to as"level wind" they would distribute the thread more evenly on the bobbin. But this one is different than any I have seen, instead of a"spoon" piece, this one has a thick wire with a loop at the end to hold the thread. The metal on the winder reads"PATENTED" and the rubber wheel reads"Simanco" SIMANCO = SI nger MAN ufacturing CO mpany) I have read that similar bobbin winders were only put on machines produced at the Scotland factory. If that ... moreis correct it is probably because the device was covered under someone else's patent in the U.S. I do think this machine was made in Scotland due to the bell shape of the wooden cover. The hand crank folds out of the way for the cover to fit over it. The swivel latch works but is quite difficult. The wood pieces have expanded and contracted over the years and don't fit as well as they did originally. Inside the case is a cubby with a swivel latch. Inside are three spaces to hold attachments. All that is present now is an old screwdriver. Holes in the base allow this machine to sit on top of a cabinet while the wheel is driven by a treadle belt. I forgot to take a photo of it but the shuttle and a bobbin are present. The hand crank works well and the needle goes up and down smoothly. It has a nice rhythm. Like a train going down the tracks. Condition is very nice. I'd say the decals are at least 85% present. The case has tiny paint spatters. I started working at getting them off just with a damp rag and a fingernail. Singer "Red Eye" Model 66 Antique Treadle Sewing Machine Head 1914 Excellent
A 1914 hand crank red eye singer model 66. Serial#G3807136. Comes with a beautiful wooden case that has a working key and 4 bobbins! One of the hinges of the case is broken. The crank works great! The needle moves smoothly. But i can't seem to thread the bobbin out to the top. You can wind the bobbin, but you just need to put pressure on that specific part where it winds the bobbin. There is a light rust and some of the paint is worn on a few parts as seen in photos. Compartment underneath it! All in all, has a authentic antique look for collectors! Posted with

Singer 1949 FEATHERWEIGHT 221-1 Black with Beautiful Gold Design Sewing Machine with Case and extras in Excellent Condition. I believe this sewing machine is complete. This sewing machine shows signs of gentle use. Machine was checked to make sure it came on and worked as it should and it ran great. I did not do any real sewing to speak of. There are a few minor knicks in the paint on the machine( I tried to show this in the pictures) The case shows wear around the edges. The machine has been sitting for several years. 1953 Singer Sewing Machine Model 15. Vintage. AL340290
This is a 1953 Singer Sewing Machine Model 15. Although this machine seems to be in good working condition(the machine responds well to the operation of foot pedal) I am selling it for parts or restoration. My knowledge of vintage sewing machines is minimal so i cant give much insight on what parts are there and what might be missing. Hopefully the pictures can give some answers. The machine was rescued from an old sewing machine repair shop that had been closed and eventually the space had been purchased and was getting cleaned out. Many machines had sat in a basement storage area that recieved some moderate water damage so all the machines were assumed to be of little to no value. The machines that appeared to be in decent condition were set aside. This particular machine does have some rust but it is light and seems to clean up well. Runs Beautifully! ONLY ONE OWNER! I know. Because she belonged to my next door neighbor since 1950! She is a machine that ANY seamstress would love to sew on. This lovely Featherweight"Red S" has been cleaned in and out. Oiled, greased& timed by a professional. The drip pad that catches any oil or grease from servicing inside the bottom cover has been changed so it is clean& without any odor. Old oil will give off a strong unpleasant smell. The bobbin case, rotary hook, hand wheel& motor pulley have all been checked for embedded thread and cleaned, and I've just replaced the V-style drive ... morebelt for you with a brand new one so it's in excellent condition. All parts on this machine are the original 221 Featherweight parts. The light switch and bulb work fine, plus I've included an extra replacement bulb and drive belt for later use. The tension has been adjusted to perfectly balance the upper and lower thread tension. I recently used it on medium weight cotton but re-adjusting it for other fabric weights is easily explained in the manual. This beauty has been cleaned in and out, but I didn't want to add any fancy coatings on the paint or decals. I'll leave that to you if you want to change her historical look and feel. All I've done is give her a simple waxing to show off her famous hi-gloss shine! This lovely Featherweight has been well maintained throughout her entire life. My neighbor's mother bought her brand new and regularly had her serviced for the past 63 years. Her dear owner recently passed away and her daughter doesn't sew. This auction is for a nice little Pre-1930's Black Singer Sewing Machine. It does have a motor on it and a switch to turn it off and on. I did some research and I found out that the Singer Company used this same pattern for many years. But when electricity become easier to obtain. They simply added a motor and a pulley system to their old design. This way they did not have to change the original design. This is a 1950's Singer Sewing Machine it does run foot peddle works and so does the light bulb looks original. Its a model 99K. Front as seen in the pic is missing the door. The shelf opens and closes. Left front leg looks a puppy did a little chewing on it. Right side needs wood repaired from weather. Top is faded out. The crome in the sewing machine shows serface rust I did not do much but put a thin coat of oil on it. Missing top bobbin and needles. The inside still has and fully working foot peddel holder.All cord orignial. Other side has the original cord holder. Has all orignal hinges and wood. Has 5 extra attachments. This is a vintage STANDARD SEWING MACHNE CO. Model"SEWHANDY" portable sewing machine. This one is Serial#J8134 and was probably made between 1934 and 1938 by OSANN Corp, a division of Singer at this time. This Sewhandy model was made from 1928 until 1938, only 10 years. The Standard Sewing Machine Co. came out with this model in hopes of saving the Standard company from going under. Singer came out with their Model 221 Featherweight at the Chicago World's Fair in 1933 which put an end to Standard. I believe Singer owned this company after 1934. By 1938 this machine was gone as the 221 Featherweight became more popular and as we know, is still a sought after machine today. This machine package is pretty complete. Incudes the machine. Bobbins and bobbin case, the carrying case, with the accessory tray, the original manual, and ... morea box of accessories, including 2 more bobbins. Not enough pictures available to show closeups of all the parts. The machine appears to be in pretty nice complete condition. Power cords and foot pedal are in fine shape and the machine is running fine. The needle picks up the bobbin thread and still sews. Motor sounds strong and the foot controller works great. Covers all the speeds. The light is working. There is no drive belt. The case is all there, but the bottom covering is not in great shape. Inside and outside. Some bubbles in the Tolex fabric covering. Could use some help. Hope you can see the condition in the pictures. There is some pitting on the hand wheel and the motor pulley. The face plate looks great and the needle plate and slide plate are also in good condition. Paint and decals are in nice condition. The wood base the machine is mounted on is in great condition. Thank you for looking into our auction of a TOY LITTLE TOUCH AND SEW SEWING MACHINE MODEL 67A23 BY SINGER. This sewing machine belonged to one of my cousins. And it has been stored in my aunt's attic for 50 plus years. The machine is in fine condition, especially considering its age. It does have usage marks on it, but there is nothing that would limit its use. It can be run by hand, using a little handle that is in the case, or it can be run by electric, using 4"D" batteries or by AC using an electrical adapter, which we didn't find in the attic. We tried running the machine using the batteries, and it ran fine. There is an owner's manual with the machine, but unfortunately, it seems that the manual got wet, and many of the pages are stuck together. Vintage Industrial Singer Sewing Machine 'Forward Tilt' Wooden Bed Addapter
This addapter is for a vintage Singer industrial machine table/motor stand. It lifts the machine head a little bit and tilt's it forward. There are hinge plates on this unit. It screws down onto the table/motor assembly. You have to drill small screw holes into the top of your table to install it. It has the old style slotted plates. You could put a Singer 111W. 112W or any machine head with that configuration. This one had a Singer 52W100, dual needle, postbed machine head on it. It shows it's age a bit and the long narrow part is a liitle loose but it is in good, usable condition. This is for a machine head that is 19" long X 7" wide. This one had a Singer 52W100 post bed machine on it.
