Transel Nitro 300A RF Linear Amplifier
Up for auction is one USED Transel Nitro 300A RF amplifier. Pictures shown are of the actual unit offered for auction. Unit was bench tested with the following equipment- a Midland 75-822 hand held citizens radio unit(to drive amplifier) A Daiwa 1.8-60 MHz 200 watt RF wattmeter and a Heath Cantenna load. Unit benched at 50 watts with the unit selected in LOW and off the 200 watt scale when the HIGH mode was selected. Last two pictures show unit operating at LOW and HIGH power settings. As no instructions are with this unit we can not determine the properly rated output. This unit was included in a storage locker from a local electronics shop. As we were only interested in the two way radios. This unit was of no use to us. Rear panel of the unit shows a service sticker dated 09/17/09 and a unbroken warranty tamper seal. Exterior case has been ... morerepainted at some time. A rear Line In fuse holder has been installed. The power cord has had the plug replaced at some time. Other than the brief bench test we know nothing further of this unit thus it is being sold as-is. Auction is for the amplifier ONLY and not for any background test equipment used for demonstration. AM-6154 432 MHz 300 Watt RF Amplifier
Auction is for a AM-6154 FAA Amplifier converted to run on 432 MHz(or anywhere in the 70 cm band) Amplifier runs@300 watts with a single EIMAC 8930 tube in Class AB for SSB. CW, and FM modes. I did this conversion in the mid 90's and have used it to run Meteor Scatter contacts on SSB/CW. The amplifier includes the T/R Relays as shown in photos but I would recommend for best performance that you probably want to update those with some newer versions. This is a complete fully operational amplifier which includes a booklet(shown in photos) of all the AM-6154 articles I could collect and copy over the years. Up for auction is my Rockford Fosgate Type RF amplifier model X4.A. I've owned this amp for a very long time and it has been amazing! In my opinion its the best 4 channel I have ever owned. This amplifier is a BEAST! Its heavy, big and outputs some serious power. Anyone who knows Type RF amps knows how great these amps are and how hard it is to get one of these. This one has the DSP system for tuning and has lots of options. Includes: Amplifier. Gunmetal Cover. Box. Manual-Sticker The cover has scratches and marks all over it but its fully functional! I've never had a single problem with it. The display. Buttons, RCA connections, speaker connections all work. There is some rust/dirt on the screws it just needs a cleaning. The ONLY thing it doesn't have is the screw for the remote amp turn-on terminal but that's never been ... morean issue for me. I just wrapped it around tightly. This amplifier was removed from a car that I purchased. Based on my limited Google searches. It looks like a 10M linear amplifier. It has two switches, one for power and the other one is either for SSB or a pre-amp. I don't have any 10M equipment to test this with. Someone likely used this with without a license or on another band as it has a BOSS audio amplifier sticker on the heat sync.

This is a COMARK UHF Television amplifier removed from a UHF television station(pre driver) It is rated to do 100 out with about 15 in. It is in the 500 Mhz range. But could be retuned to do 440 FM. But since it is a Class A amplifier, it won't be very efficient(It will draw about 10 amps at 24 volts even with no drive) It would be great for SSB or ATV. The SD1490-1 transistor itself goes for $65 new(there are 4 of them on the board) Other than removed working. And that at least one other ham has retuned a similar device on 440(use google) I don't have any further data or support. This device is being sold AS-IS- no returns. I have 5 of them.
