Here is a great pair of vintage estate cufflinks; they are from a non-smoking home. They are quite intricate with a 1/2" octagonal base and engraved design around the border. A round black disc sits atop the base; I do not know whether it is a stone or manufactured material. As these were my Father's. I am guessing they date from the 1970's or earlier. I cannot see any scratches on the black material-the flash pictures show some reflections. There is a bit of wear on the backs from age and use; I believe these are in very good usable condition. Someone added a cardboard top to keep everything in place. This card set has a little bit of everything in it. Cards start at 0A2 and run up to 9006. With a good set of 2-digit radio cards and a fair amount of 4-digit industrial cards. There's a good set of 6-volt cards for radios' ie: 6L7, 6SQ7, 6SC7 etc. A bunch of 12volt cards for 12BY7, 12AX7. 1-volt cards, 3-volt cards, 5-volt cards including 5AR4, 5U4(i think) Industrial cards starting at 5642 running through 7308. Calibration cell, and an additional set of@40 calibration cards. The calibration cell may or may not still be good. The last date for inspection was 1978, which is a few years ago. The calibration cards start at card#1 and run through#53. There is one card absent#14. These cards are for a more detailed calibration of the 123. Cards are entitled: Meter, Shorts, Bias, Main B+, DC Filament Cathode, Meter Shunt, Decade Resistor, etc. If you have a 123/A this might be a useful item for you. Shipping is extra.

I bought this at an estate sale several years ago just as you see it. With no lid. This Is a Working Unit with no apparent issues. I had to replace the wire wound resistor due to a bad spot on the winding(I will send it and the three clamps with the unit) I looked all over but never was able to find an original one as shown in the picture. I replaced it with a shorter but larger in diameter resister of close to the same specifications as the original. It's been some time, but I believe I was able to achieve the voltages required for proper calibration from the three taps on the replacement ... moreresistor. As you can see the cord needs replacing. Vintage Hickok Model 680 Crystal Oscillator Television R.F. Marker Calibrator
You are bidding on an unmolested working Hickok model 680 crystal-controlled RF Marker Calibrator with manual. Hickok is a big name in radio/TV/electronics test equipment. The company has been in business for over 100 years. During the heyday of tube electronics Hickok built some of the very best tools for radio and TV servicemen. Today the company is still in business. Manufacturing automotive test equipment. This auction is for a Hickok model 680 crystal controlled RF marker calibrator. Serial number 73-10661. This instrument is usually used to provide accurate"markers" when aligning analog television sets and high frequency radios. It can also be used to calibrate any signal generator from 500 kHz to over 850MHz. If you're looking at this listing you probably already know all this. Detailed specifications are shown in the ... moreright hand page of the manual in the last photo. This instrument was last used by me two years ago. It was in working condition at that time and still should be. If you plan to use it regularly you may want to replace at least the filter capacitors since it's over fifty years old. The cord also shows some cracking. But is still useable. This 680 comes with the original manual in fair condition. The manual includes full instructions for use, a schematic diagram, and a parts list. The 680 has sockets for up to 3 switch-selectable crystals(see 3rd photo) This listing includes the standard 2.5MHz crystal. Installing other crystals in the empty sockets would allow you to use the instrument at any desired frequency. This instrument is entirely unmolested and original. The Hickok 680 is a very useful tool for servicing vintage analog TV sets and other high frequency analog euipment. I have been collecting antique radios and TV's for more than 30 years. 150) This auction is for THREE old vintage watch fob chains. The first is an old vintage Hickok Beltogram made of Hickok plate. This fob does have a broken chain so it would need some repair and the beltogram will need polished. The second fob is a lovely 13" long very ornate etched chain with the ring on one end and the hook on the other. The chain is not light. It does have some weight to it. The third fob chain is also 13" long with a link& bar type pattern. Also has the hook at one end and the ring at the other end. A GREAT trio of watch fob chains that would be hard to find. (Hickok) Military TV-2C Tube tester, Excellent operating cond. Cal checked
This is a nice Military TV-2c(the lastest version) in excellent operating condition. And good cosmetic condition. This is considered by some to be one of the best testers based on the Hickok Gm circuit. I've gone through the complete cal check(there are a few errors in the procedure) and added a few checks of my own. Everything checks out fine and I've tested a bunch of tubes(see the list iin the c/o sheet(last 3 pictures) This includes spare tubes(83 and 6X4) The screen supply rectifier's(6X4) heater is on a winding of the plate/ screen transformer. This causes screen voltage drift as a result of changing the plate fine adjust. This issue is nicely resolved by changing the screen rectifier to diodes, I made a 7 pin plug-in adapter for this. Every switch, pot and meter operate fine. The case has the usual dents and scrapes and ... moreif you're fussy it could use a paint job. The interior and front panel. Including the knobs and meters, are in excellent condition. The roll chart in the lid works very smoothly with no binding. The original manual is in good condition. There are a number of manuals(operating and test) manuals available on the BAMA site: Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 and Shipping will be by UPS for 56 lbs from 91784. Hickok Tube Tester Model 600A + Extra 83 & 5Y3 Tubes - Working Condition
Up for auction is a Hickok 600A Micromho Mutual Conductance(Gm) Tube Tester. This tester is in working condition. But but is being sold“as is” since it has not been recently calibrated. The meter is in excellent condition; the knobs are tight and the chart roll bar works all the way to both ends. As can be seen from the panel face. There is little wear around the knobs which happens from frequent use. This unit operates using both a 83 tube rectifier and a 5Y3WGT tube rectifier. When these tubes were replaced. The tester’s readings did not change– indicating that the original tubes are still good(and will be included in this sale as extras) The tester still has all four rubber feet, original handle, and the original power cord(which has the usual cracking seen in cords from its era) The unit comes with a cap connector, spare fuse, and a copy ... moreof the original manual. Hickok of the 4th Regiment of the Virginia Infantry. Company G. The William Watts Chapter was located in Roanoke, VA. The application was filled out by Elinor Gardner Jacobs. Her date of admission as stated on the application is April 10th 1914. The inside of the application contains Jacob's' description of her ancestor James W. Hickok's record of service. The following is what she wrote: James W Hickok joined a volunteer company two years before the war under the command of Col Bob Trigg. A solid state multimeter with the high input impedance of a VTM: On DC: 10 Mohm on ranges 15-150 mv. 100 Mohm on ranges 500 mv to 1500v. On AC: 10 kHz to 10MHz: 10 Mohm. Input capacitance: 1.5pF. This comes equipped with: Three shielded original equipment input leads for DC volts. MA and ohms. A probe using an UHF disc-seal vaccuum diode. Bringing the upper frequency limit to an amazing 700 MHz. A good. Completely legible photocopy of the manual. The multimeter is tested and works but the power cord was lost. Buyer will have to supply the power cord. There are signs of use on the outside of the case. Including scuff marks and scratches but it otherwise looks in good shape. This is a good working Hickok 547A tube tester. I replaced the power cord. Out-of-tolerance resistors and a leaky capacitor. It comes with two sizes grid or plate connectors. In the pictures shown.
