It has an intentional approximately 4" square hold in the center of the bottom of the basket. I have no idea what it's purpose was originally but it is an elegant industrial piece.

These vintage pins would enhance any outfit when worn and work well with many outfits for the upcoming summer months. The pink pin displays three crysanthemums with g.t. stamens in the center and the branches being goldtone. It is 2 1/2" long; the white pin is an enameled one with a yellow button type stamen in the center with the backing goldtone and it is 1 1/2" in diameter; the yellow lucite/plastic is a lovely flower sitting on a mesh backing of leaves. a few of the mesh leaves are bent slightly. Wonderful 1920's Victorian Tambour lace net/mesh pillow sham. With gorgeous 3-D detail of vine with flowers, and leaves. The middle has a great flower design which might have been crochet or batten-burg. The two ends have a very nice crochet edging, this edging is only at and around the ends of the sham that flow over the edge of the bed. There are 2 places where there are spots. Refer to picture, and I didn't notice it until I took one of the pictures at one of the ends there appears to be a stain, not really noticeable, one of the flowers will need to be tacked back down, and there is one very tiny hole. Vintage Napier Gold-Tone Mesh and Faux Pearl Overlap Choker Necklace
Great choker necklace by Napier. This piece shows the quality that Napier is known for. The mesh part of this necklace is simply perfection. It is a very tight weave and reminds me of a very expensive real gold necklace I have seen. It is a little over a 1/4 inch width. The faux pearls are strung on a metal chain. The pearls overlap and attach on opposite sides on the closure(see pic 2) So many design elements to this piece. There is also a rope design that is mean to be placed to the side of the piece. It keeps the pearl row and the mesh rows gathered together. The closure snaps together and is also very good quality. Victorian mesh coin purse in sterling with guilloche enamel
This wonderful Victorian purse can be held by hand or worn on a chatelaine. The mesh is in great condition. There is a small chip in the powder blue guilloche enamel. It was priced accordingly. The gate opening expands to a 2 inch diameter. It it 5 inches long and tapers to a point. Width is 3/4 inch at top and 2 1/2 inches at the widest point. weighs 54.7 grams. I believe this to be a Merkuria Seltzer Bottle but the marking on the bottom does not match the other Merkuria bottles I've seen. So have a look and do some research. Maybe you will be more successful than I was. All dimensions and weight match the other listings. This bottle is in flawless condition. It is clear this was rarely. If ever, used. The wire mesh is in perfect condition.no marks. Bad links, etc. The mechanical parts show very little to no wear at all. The red stripe on the inside is bright and does not show any fading. There was a CO2 cartridge in this when I purchased it. I can include it in the package for reference when you go to buy a new one. ALSO. Please note the black rubber ring around the bottom of the bottle is included in the auction, I just took it off when I took a pic of the bottom. Antique vintage German Silver purse bag Victorian era mesh chain mail
This auction is for one vintage/ antique Victorian era purse/handbag. The chain mail/ mesh is separated on each side(see pictures) and will need repair. It is also missing carrying chain and a few of the dangles. It will also need to be cleaned with some kind of silver polish as pictures indicate it is oxidized. I'd clean it myself but I don't have the time or patience for such a task. Would be a fun project for someone who likes to restore things. Or the purse could be framed as is and used as a display item. This piece is gorgeous and very detailed. The top silver solid area sports delicate flowers and designs(see pictures) It has a nice weight to it. It was very well made. Especially for the time period. On the inside of the bag G.
