Owing to the fact that they'd been obsoleted so early in their career. Since the planer's infeed had been tied to the facer's outfeed with a conveyor. There was no infeed table originally supplied. We made a pretty nice one out of a heavy gauge stock. I wish I could find someone who could use this thing- it's a great planer in pretty damn good shape. And at a good price, too, buy the way! 3 Vintage Woodworking Auto body Farrier Rasp File Shaper Planer,Barn LOT
3 wooden handled tools. 2 are very coarse rasp blades; nine cutting edges to an inch. One is rounded in shape and other one is flat with cutting edge on both sides(can be flipped) Both of these have the same wooden handle; 14" long and 1.5" wide, hand grip is 4" tall and 6" long. The other tool is for attaching sandpaper or emery cloth to measures 19" long and aluminum plate for attaching sandpaper too measures 16" x 3" and has brackets each end for holding sandpaper, plate has a coating of rubber on it for holding the sandpaper from slipping. The wooden handle extends 5" past the end of the metal plate on bottom and has a knob for added grip or applying pressure to item being dressed. It would appear that the outside housing has been painted silver at one point. The adjustable guard is missing a bolt and wing nut. The other side still has it. Surface rust, missing paint, discoloration found, there is a chip found in the metal, the blade is heavily worn and rusted, the makers mark is badly faded, the front wood handle is chipped, scratched, and nicked, and the back handle appears to have been glued back together.
